To GMs , Please bring back Medals in any alternate way or we have been getting bullied by those who got lots of Medals because of your weakness. Those faction with R9 are getting more n more medals frm TW, and without R9 are just wasting times.
I have been playing this to hit lvl 101 and to get R9 , that's my ultimate.
But now it's like just wasting times.
GM , can you hear us! or are you working on it. or Are you busy!

You are not the only one annoyed by this, I'm also, but "bearer of bad news" has yet to speak about how are we going to get medals now. My best bet is Cash shop. b:sad0

And for the statement...bring the medals back cause we get pk by rank 9. Its sounds like 90% of your server has already rank 9...but i doubt that. since the game was working without rank 9 before as well as it is now, i dont think this game is "waste of time".If i m trolling and spamming on forum...then i cant sleep and need a good laugh0

Then speed thru West Arch till you hit 88mph, you will then be launched 20 years into the future where medals can be purchased once again. Nah. Here's how it would ACTUALLY work.
1.) The Delorean wouldn't be sold outright. You'd have to get it from a new pack.
2.) Upon gaining your shiny new time machine, you'd quickly find that it could only hit 40mph by default. Luckily though, the parts to upgrade it are on sale! 30 bucks for the first upgrade, which would bring you to 65mph, and the second for 50, which would get you to the necessary 88.
3.) Of course, it wouldn't be PWI if things worked right straight out of the box, so the plutonium necessary to power the Flux Capacitor wouldn't be available right away. No worries though, as the developers thoughtfully added the rig you'll need to catch the 1.21 gigawatt lightning bolt you need. Of course, because they don't want to make things too easy to attain...there's only a 5% chance of it actually succeeding. But it's only $15 per attempt. Nothing people can't afford right?
4.) Once you've FINALLY succeeded, and reached your destination of 20 years into the future, you'll find that you 'only' need to sacrifice the ingame equivalent of 4 human babies and a goat in order to get the medals you need. At this point you can return back to your original time, rank 9 gear in tow. Hurray!
5.) Of course upon returning, you'll find that rank 10 now vastly outclasses rank 9, making all your efforts pointless. Rank 9 was also a goal of mine, albeit a very long-term goal considering the cost - even with sales, it's still more than I can afford after already dumping 50 bucks in to achieve rank 8 with the first rank sale, so I was diligently saving my now-useless DQ points (what on earth would I want a stupid mount for??? Fail, PWI, just fail.) to get those stupid medals.
And I agree that removing the medals from the rewards page was the worst possible thing PWI could do - all it has done is make the rich richer and the poor poorer, have you people seen the catshop prices on those stupid things??? The people who exploited the glitch and amassed a bunch of those medals are now BENEFITING from their removal from the DQ rewards. The people PWI claimed to want to punish for using an exploit are only getting rewarded for their trickery.
I also agree that they WILL bring the medals back someday and I agree that they'll find some way to bring them back in a way that will make them more money because PWI is a company and the bottom line is always profit for any company, so we can't really fault them for that. We need to weigh and balance some things here like: PWI is a F2P game, sure. And PWI gives us plenty of things for "free." Like the numerous double drops/double exp events we've had in recent months - oh wait, are people struggling with the fact that they still have to actually work for their "free" things like gears and levels? PWI is also a P2P game - you don't HAVE to pay, but, as with ANY game like this, if you DO pay, you will progress faster and further than those who don't pay - it's a fact of life, you have to spend money to make money. You can't build something from nothing, and the same is true for PWI - you can't build a super-powerful character with nothing at all, or you can, it would just take you years rather than months. Crying about it gets you nowhere, only hard work will get you there.
I only read the first page of replies here and just have to say that attacking the OP for his/her spelling or the fact that he/she started YET ANOTHER thread on this topic gets none of us anywhere. I personally think that the MORE threads that are started on any topic, the better, the more likely PWI is to sit up and take notice of what is obviously a serious issue for many of it's loyal customers. For me, it's over 2 and a half years of my time and several hundred of my hard-earned dollars, and for what? A big, fat slap in the face from PWI, one of many, really. Maybe 1 day before I would have been able to get my first 3 medals from DQ rewards, the medals were removed, and yeah, I was super mad.
But none of that negates the fact that thousands of people still play and will continue to play. My not being capable of achieving rank 9 at this moment doesn't negate all the hard work, time, and money I've already put in to this game, and it doesn't negate it for you, the OP, or anyone else, either. Keep on truckin', guys, PWI is ever-changing, always evolving, and you never know what they'll throw at us next.
My vote is perma-double-drops and exp, and giving 3 or 4x drops and exp at "event" times because you've made it so darn hard on us to achieve some things that we have come to NEED double drops to inch just a little bit closer to our goals. Take something away from us, make something 10x harder to achive, well come on PWI, give us a little something in place of what you've taken away - and not just some stupid, too-expensive reward mount - I have my anniversary mount and it works just fine. Give me perma-double-drops so I can once again begin to dream, to have a goal, of achieving rank 9 in some other manner since the medals are now going for what? 100 million coins or more? What a joke, even as a cashshopper, I've never seen 100 mil in my bank at one time b:laugh I think I'm doing something wrong!
Keep complaining about the medals, guys. Keep the threads coming. Keep showing PWI that we aren't going to forget about this easily and that our loyalty to their game deserves bigger rewards than new packs and fashion in the cashshop and a stupid mount in DQ rewards.0 -
