Alt+tab causing problems?

Everytime I alt+tab, or change the game graphics and the game closes and comes back, the in-game mouse icon gets changed to the normal windows mouse icon. Along with this, everytime I click, the game will minimize. The only way I am able to fix it is ctrl+alt+del and end it from there.

Anyone else ever had this problem? Is there a fix for it? Thanks.

Not typically, but it's really more dependent on your system and what it's doing at the time.

Post your system specs and we would be able to help you.

    OS
    Processor
    Memory
    GPU
    ect.

For those not computer-savvy enough to find this info, a cool prog that's free is called Speccy.
You can get it here. http://www.piriform.com/speccy

Yes, please free to post your dxdiag here, or you can submit it in a ticket to Tech Support for a more in depth analysis.

    Thank you and good luck!

Yes, with an older system like that I can see you having trouble tabbing out of the game. Windows XP also has issues with redundant resources that could cause more problems as well. You can try setting the processor affinity for the game client to 1, but I truly don't see that making a big difference. Try to minimize toolbars in your browser and programs/processes that are running in the background and see if that helps. Otherwise, you're pretty much just out of luck.

Also, the game seems to run pretty bad in general. I have a zero frame rate change from switching the graphic to the worst or the best. It stays around 15-20. I'm going to run it on Linux to see if it changes anything.

A FPS of 15-20 for your OS and system specs is actually pretty good.

I used to get this issue a lot back when I had windows vista. I found that changing the client from "Full screen" to "Windowed" worked for me. That way I could alt-tab without minimising the client. Also try the graphics setting before clicking start on the launcher.

Sorry but that's all I can think of :( hope it helps
