I've been dc'ing every 20-30 minutes in the past days. Now I can't even log on (Unable to connect to server). I am playing on Raging Tides and this happens only there, I can log on Archosaur or Lost City..What's happening?

Our servers are working properly. Please try powering down and restarting your computer system and network hardware. Sometimes the break can do wonders for you connection.

If the issue still persist you might want to look into submitting a traceroute from your computer to our servers in a ticket to Tech Support.

    Cheers!

So yeah, after getting this reply I felt like a tard and thought it was my fault. Now I feel I have been trolled by PWI cause I reinstalled the game, I found another ISP and paying 10$/month more, I've restarted the computer and reset the router zillion times and I am still dc'ing every 5-10 minutes. I also sent a ticket and never got a reply. And today I saw 3 people in Raging Tides world chat complaining about how East Coast servers seem to be down, how they can connect on the West servers but get :Unable to connect" on East from time to time, how they get disconnected every 5-10-15 minutes although they haven't changed any computer/internet/router settings etc..exactly what I am experiencing. I am from Europe, they are from Europe too. So instead of having fun on my 100 char, I am playing all kinds of nub chars so I won't be "the fail cleric that disconnects every 2 minutes". Next time you tell me about the wonders of breaks on my connections, try to check your servers first.

we have some problem not with pwi but with someone between our ISPs and PWI. here is what i posted on another thread:

the problem is somewhere in the midddle, between our ISP and the pwi servers. i DC alot on all east coast servers, but have no problems at west coast ones. so here is the traceroute:

    root@named:~# traceroute -n 74.201.183.68
traceroute to 74.201.183.68 (74.201.183.68), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
    1 212.25.32.1 0.414 ms 0.369 ms 0.340 ms
    2 212.25.58.1 0.553 ms 0.563 ms 0.629 ms
    3 94.156.251.137 0.817 ms 0.808 ms 0.737 ms
    4 67.17.157.61 9.319 ms 9.393 ms 9.460 ms
    5 67.17.108.246 161.157 ms 161.042 ms 161.094 ms
    6 67.17.192.54 160.832 ms 160.872 ms 160.852 ms
    7 216.52.95.9 159.650 ms 216.52.95.73 159.503 ms 216.52.95.9 159.590 ms
    8 * * *
    9 * * *
    10 * * *
    11 * * *
    12 * * *
    13 *^C

after that here is the ping report:

    PING 216.52.95.9 (216.52.95.9) 56(84) bytes of data.

    --- 216.52.95.9 ping statistics ---
58 packets transmitted, 28 received, 51% packet loss, time 57275ms
    rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 161.458/168.403/348.455/34.655 ms

    whois info:

    root@named:~# whois 216.52.95.9

    Internap Network Services Corporation PNAP-8-98 (NET-216-52-0-0-1) 216.52.0.0 - 216.52.255.255

The traceroutes are suppose to stop at our firewalls, so the issue is elsewhere.

Feel free to send in a ticket to tech support with your full traceroute, and send in one for each server that you play on.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

so u r saying that 216.52.95.9 is pwi`s firewall? coz my statement says that problem is reaching that IP (216.52.95.9), i suppose the problem is caused by the route before that IP. And i know that ur firewall is filltering the ICMP requests.
