Is there any information on the new instance on how many people you require in party? My GF and I just attempted to enter the instance, and it failed. b:sad

I think 2 is the minimum since I read a forum earlier that just one person and their friend cleric attempted it and was able to get through.
I think however you both need to be in that same range lvl.

I attempted it with My GF, and it failed. So the assumption that 2 is the minimum is incorrect. I was informed via world chat that the minimum is 4.0 -
I went in solo, no party, on a 35 seeker, so at least for the 30-44 Phoenix Valley, 1 is the minimum party size to enter. Completing it is a different question...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

then your girlfriend been in a different level range.
i read somewhere if you even open the instance with your char and another person joins the squad out of your level range, all mobs gets wiped and the instance will fail.If i m trolling and spamming on forum...then i cant sleep and need a good laugh0 -
Lvl 81 Cleric, Level 83 Psy and Lvl 80 Sin -> Quest failed and we couldn't enter.
No clue why atm.0 -

Tried it yesterday on my 61 Mystic with a 70 veno helping out ( same lvl range ).
It said something like "instance number is maxed" wich I understood as too many people were doing instance at that time or it has a certain number of squads doing it each day.
Anyways... I thought you should be able to enter an instance no matter how many squads were doing the same at a particular time.
Am I wrong?0 -
I tried 3X to enter yesterday with 3 diff chars, all failed to enter. 1st char was 84 wizzy trying to solo. 2nd char a 44 cleric with squad, only one member of squad got in. 3rd char was a 80 mystic with a squad, this time 2 members got in. Seems like some ppl can enter, others cannot. Since it takes a hour to put together a random squad, doesn't seem like any point in trying again. I put in a support ticket n should get an answer in 13 days telling me there's nothing wrong.0

Tried again today, nothing got the same unable to enter instance "Failed!" retork as I did yesterday0 -
i tried it myself yesterday- my husband, daughter and son were going to come on as soon as i got the quest. but moments after getting it, as we were getting ourselves sorted out, i got a big 'failed' notice. and when we tried to get it while in squad, same thing, and it didnt matter who was leader.
so what gives? how does one get into this place?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I entered with a squad of 6, 60-74 lvl range. Everyone got in, we cleared all the mobs and first boss, then encountered a bunch of closed doors and couldn't proceed. Also wondering what's the deal w/ the 15 minute token, where is this supposed "earth elemental NPC" referred to in the News Post for this instance, and why--upon entering the instance--did I receive another quest called "Reenter Phoenix Valley" (or something like that)??0

I got in no problem yesterday, and then this morning with my husband and I. surviving was a different story, yeah, we got in just fine.0

that reenter instance... if you go in and solo, and you die and have to town out, if your token still has a timer, you can "reenter Phoenix Valley"0 -

Got in yesterday with a some-what rainbow squad. Cleric, barb, sin, and BM.
Barb was 74, Cleric 60, my sin was 68, and the BM was 65?
We wasted too much time in the entry way. I eventually ran to the final boss after about 30 minutes and soloed him...
The instance is meant to be done FCC style. Get a good barb, get a good cleric, have the barb run through a bunch of the instance, stop, invoke, roar, cleric BB's, then your DD's AOE like it's goin outta style. Repeat until you're at the boss.
Apparently, if you can do it in 15 minutes, you can open a door or something. Not sure though.101 Sage Sin*/Archer

Tried it once on my sin... Only 2 clerics, 1 other sin and myself where able to get in... After some time of killing all those mobs and the boss we just got closed doors... Was a complete waste of time, charm & repair costs... Got nothing... I don't know if it's glitched or not but I'm not going in there annymore untill it is fixed... Realy too bad though... Was realy exited about a new instance for lower ppl... b:surrender[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

As I posted earlier, failed to enter 3X yesterday - 1st day.
Today - 2nd day - entered PV 2X, 80 BM n 46 cleric, no problem. Everyone in squad got in without problem. Once inside, that was a diff matter, lol.
A constant AoE char in squad really helps, as instance works a lot like FC. Someone else made a post earlier that was much to the point. This means that the lower lvl ppl in lower lvl instance will have a harder time as many don't have AoE skills yet, that's just my opinion. My poor little lvl 46 cleric doesn't have BB yet and it was a tough run with 5 wannabe tanks in the squad.
12 more days till I get response 4 my support ticket telling me there's nothing wrong.0 -

I had this yesterday, but make the squad leader gets the quest FIRST. After that, everyone can get in no problem.

Was able to solo the first room and hallway but it just got too hard with one toon to clear out the whole joint. Was getting 250-320 XP per kill.

Went on my lvl 67 cleric and my wife's lvl 74 veno with herc. Didn't know what to expect..We were amazed by amount of mobs and our evident lack of AoE..Was mostly just BB'ing while she was using whatever to kill them..Decided it wasn't worth my mp charm cost just us 2 so got out. Does not seem to give drops, exp seemed to me "ok" considering amount of mobs.It might not seem like best addition, but at least it's one.. To go to when bored or something. We might retry on our combo of my lvl 71 seeker and her 71 cleric, that might go better...Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle0

I did use hypers (first time ever) just to see what kind of exp I got from them. Started off getting 650 ~ 900 exp regular. Then hypered and got 7800 ~ 10k exp. Got about 25%.
Took more than 2 hours to clear it and zero drops, so it's not really that fun. (Oops, I said the f-word. b:chuckle ) It seems like an instance aimed at nothing but for leveling, so I doubt I'll do it again.

With zero drops I think the exp should be better, at least 2x or 3x regular. It is sort of a cash sink, we I am all for but exp should reflect that.0

Did the run yesterday with my 84 bm, had few problems with the area, just had to take care on the number of mobs i drew in. end boss was a cool fight. xp and spirit from start to finish where nice...but would have like some drops at least from boss, maybe a nice load of dq items at the very least. its a once per day run....needs drop(s) from boss, or what was the point of this area. 90k repair bill is not my idea of "fun"0

Tried twice now in the 75-84 PV.
First time just cleric and I, both lvl 83. Did not get far before the boredom drove me to Kamikaze. Did not expect a lot of drops, but there was absolutely nothing ... not even coins.
Second time had a good squad: Cleric, 2 Venos, Seeker, Archer and Barb. I *THOUGHT* we only had 15 minutes, as there was a timer when we went in, so I did the FCC-style run as fast as I could ... often getting the next group of mobs before my cooldowns were even over (oops). Got it figured out by the second room and pulled the last room almost entirely (well, 1 big group and one mop-up).
Killed the boss fairly quickly ... not much difficulty there ... total time a bit over 20 minutes. But we all expected something else to happen. None of the doors opened (there are at least 5) and there was no indication that the quest was even over. We were just suddenly done as far as we could tell.
Those who used hypers posted some good numbers for EXP, but the whole run is so small it does not seem worth it. If you could do the instance 4 times a day and keep the hyper running all four times it might be a different story. At our level we could do either this or FCC, but FCC's bosses are pretty annoying still.
Has anyone done PV in 15 minutes? I suspect it is possible. I was stunned a couple times which might have slowed things down a bit and with a bit more experience I am sure I could pull the entire last room in one go rather than two.
Is there some kind of bonus for getting it done in 15 minutes? If so, then I will probably try again ... if not, then it is certainly not going to be a daily thing for me.

There was another thread on this instance in which a couple people reported finishing before the token ran out. No doors were opened; nothing changed. Apparently the token is only there to allow you to re-enter if you die or something (one guy couldn't get back in after his expired).
I ran the low level version of this instance on my assassin with a seeker and veno, no healer. It was stupidly easy and fast. Took us maybe twenty minutes at most even thought we had to pull some stuff. Ran the mid-level version for fun with some faction friends, myself on psychic this time, and it was easy as well. I can say for sure that fun is the only reason to do this instance... regular mob grinding seems more profitable in exp and you get drops. But what they really should have done was give you a quest for the boss and implement a small random reward for completion, like mirages, exp orb, chest of coins, spirit orb, genie exp cube, etc. That would keep people wanting to run it. For me, I've tried it now, found it useless, and I'm done.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

seconded, all of the above. no point even running it on all the level ranges, for me; i'll only try it again if i'm unusually bored and have a few friends in game also complaining of boredom. at that, it's too short to be a good time-waster, really.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Heaven's Tear alts: KenLubin, Sou_Hon, JudyCaraco --- level 5x chars.0
