Tried out the new instance earlier, I'm currently level 82. Very straightforward instance, go in, wreck a **** load of mobs killed a simple tank and spank boss...leave.

For me, it as fun just to test my limits on how many mobs I can handle with Vortex. Was me, a mystic, a veno and another Seeker (He didn't have vortex for some reason). The other three were 77, 78, 79 and everything went fine.

So, just go in...Vortex the bajeebus out of anything that moves...leave. b:victory

Edit: Phoenix Valley now has two more ranges available for your Vortexing pleasure. They are 85-94 and 95+.

I don't think the instance is supposed to be difficult. I've read that a non-herc veno pet can tank around 6 mobs in there at once.

There's no rewards except exp. They probably just wanted to give an easy exp option that didn't involve just standing or flying around.
    /quit.

U guys r doing it the wrong way. My seeker is lvl 75 and I could solo 75-84 instance. Perfect spot for aoe grinding. :)

If you hyper the whole thing it's an easy mass spirit boost too :). If you don't have vortex use all but your 3 single target skills...idk what else to tell you. If I remember right we have 3-4 aoe's by 39 so you should be ok. Also if you're tanking (don't tank ever give the barbs love) let the squad know your strategy before everyone starts to prevent wipes as you get kicked out when you die.

i did a couple of faction runs of that instance over the weekend, two different level ranges. first run was on my then-level-39 seeker... with a veno and a 'sin in squad, just the three of us. we had a blast, i tanked the boss unhealed, easy as you please. a little too short of an instance to be really fun, but something to do when you and a few friends are bored i guess.

Now that there are two new level ranges for this instance (85-94 and 95+) I've revisted this instance on my Seeker and Barb. The two new ones seem to use the FB 19 Untamed Cave as its layout. The mobs in both are pretty much the same...with the Darkuss Mannequins being the annoying ones (seal, stun, freeze, small AOE). There are a lot more of them (annoying mobs) in the higher instance, but it doesn't really slow you down too much if you're in a squad.

That said, I have solo'd the 85-94 one on my Seeker, with BP and my own buffs + food, genie..etc etc. So...totally doable.

The boss at the end of the 85-94 range on is pretty standard tank and spank...its another Phoenix type boss so you pull it down off his podium and beat the flame outta him.

The boss at the end of the 95+ one has an ironic name, mana leak and some other things I cant remember but is not too much of a hassle either. These instances are not amazing EXP but like LenieClarke said about me...just something else to do if you're bored or neeed a few % with hypers...(shrugs).

I gotta say I enjoy doing the instance on my seeker a lot. She's lvl 55 atm (so still too low for vortex) but I'm having a blast. (even though I lose agro easily)
I notice I can pull relatively big groups and that she can handle more then I expected. Either way, I like this addition to pwi ;3

I have solo'd the 74-84 instance numerous times with just BP + food/genie - it's good fun to see how many mobs I can handle at once and also pretty good exp while hypered

Just did it again, one thing more I'd like to note...if you do PV quickly enough...the damage counter, blood suck (if you have BP) counter, spirit and exp counters lag and dont show up as they should...(Much like FCC) So when I was done, I turned around and in the hall it was still counting/displaying a previous pull I did. It's sorta like a post game recap, you can watch the numbers and see how many times they missed you, the damage they did, how much you were getting from the blood paint, how much exp you were gettting and more.

95+ easily soloable. at lvl 100 I was racking up 7-8% a run with hypers, and silkwerms. Nothing but BP+cleric buffs (self ones too ofc) And would clear the instance within 15 mins of hyper use.

Main thing I would do is use the sealer mobs as a "goto target" round up as many as posible dodgeing those paticular ones, then vortex them. rinse and re-peat.

Yeah they can be pretty annoying, but are generally easy to overcome. I employ the same tactic Remakbo was talking about...using them as the target I set vortex on. Thankfully they don't run away once aggro'd.
