They just added a new primitive monster race to the game, dancing around fires with their masks on at the opening of the game...

The game itself is set in a world of magic, gods and fantasy...

... and someone though a motorcycle was a good addition? ...lol.

As for those who are talking about WoW and such, WoW has actually made an attempt at integrating technology... however roughly... into the game. Gnomes have all kinds of high tech stuff, and goblins have been making machines ever since they found out how to fit things together.

This motorcycle is ripped right from some other place and plunked down in the middle of this other world, with the EXTREMELY hackneyed and lame excuse of "time travel". Because who DOESN'T time travel on a motorcycle?

If they had gone for golems (magically animated machine mounts) or something like that that could be explained away (the Earthguard used to use these thousands of years ago, and with their awakening, they were rediscovered!) then it wouldn't have been so bad. As it is... it gives me a feeling like someone is sitting in an office someplace laughing at all the players into the "feel" of this game... the ultimate troll.

Or worse... the people who are in charge of what gets done in this game either A) Don't give a ****, or Have no idea what the game is actually about or is like. In either of those cases, I wouldn't give this game more than another half year before it folds.

The female fash is actually nice but the helmet is just plain ridiculous.
Spartan helmets were popular because of movie 300 and etc. but biker helmet? thats stupid.


and my question for those on these forums ; does pwe staff at least put animation on the motorcycle wheels when moving?, and how it sounds like? it does sound like another normal mount or at least the bothered giving it a motor sound when moving?

As far as I'm concerned, I don't see why people are making a fuss. PWI released a bunch of "modern" fashions months and even years before the motorbike came out. And now people are complaining that it doesn't fit with PWI's "ancient Chinese/fantasy" theme.

Yes, catgirls in bikinis and fish people in booty shorts fits perfectly.

If I buy one, I'm going to wait for when they drop in value in about a month. Right now in Sanct, I've seen them being sold for 41m max and 30m lowest.

I would only buy one if summoning the bike literally turns my barb into the ****ing Ghost Rider.

You are SO not getting the picture here. The only thing that was ever modern if at all in PWI were the fashions. Fashion is an easy thing that doesn't really stand out in the game.

...............Now take a mount......until now NO mount, flyer, or any other part of PWI has ever been non-mythical/medieval/ancient/magical. A mount is not an easy thing you can overlook (and it doesn't help for the fact that its too damn loud).

The game is pretty much based on a great theme of a world where there is nothing modern to disturb what I visualized as something I could only make up in my mind and dream about (or at least until now it did).

Whats next after this mount? More modern junk to affect the games overview of its world?

I couldn't resist, I payed 20mil for it even though I already know they'll be less than 10 in a matter of weeks.

IF any GM reads this they should by now be aware that their whole "update" which was
announced with that clock is in players opinions a FAIL.

"The devs do that, not us" is usually their reply, but at least they could try to to tell those
devs that OUR gaming culture is different from THEIRS.

I got a funny feelin that pwi has changed hands, thier decisions and money hungering seemes more "noober" than before, personally, I feel like slappin the little **** across the face that thought of this ****.......(turkey-slap ****)b:victory

So lots of people complaining that motorbikes don't fit in with the "ancient" setting of pwi, yet, these people are more than happy to wear all the latest fashions that have no place in an "ancient" setting also? I lol, I lol at you. b:cute

I like the bikes to be honest, it's so mismatched it's funny.

I seriously do not find any of this funny.

I will point out a similar matter which happened in another game.

It was made in Korea, but its basically the same area. Someone had decided that the buff icons needed to look the same as the ones in the Korean version did. The response was immediate dislike.

They did not match with the games style at all and confused too many players.

It took well over a month and over 500+ votes on a poll just to get it changed back. But it worked.

I guess it would be more classified as a game play situation, but on most of the posts put up in the thread everyone had the same opinion. It did not match the game.
