If I recall correctly, these bloods can be used to make blood gear. You can visit the "Legendary" kettles in south archosaur to see the recipes. Gear that uses blood should all be under the "special" tab.

I think you should find three pieces of level 40 gear (arcane sleeves, light something and heavy boots) that you can make with just bloods and regular mats (I think 9 each xenomorph blood, 9 each claw blood and 10 each of the low mats). Everything else will also need dragon quest orders.

Once upon a time, dragon quest orders were questionable, because of the value of dq items when you NPC'd them. Then dq items were reduced in value and dq orders started making sense. But now, with dqrewards, the dq orders have become dubious. You should really set yourself up a cost/benefit spreadsheet if you want to be making good economic decisions in this game, and that very much applies here. (But the good news is that even if you make make bad decisions you can still play.)
