    I think it's useful, but then I back when I was level 20 I got confused with the HH/TT :] But people will always use what they're used to, and learn, even if others think it's wrong. Although now, people mostly use TT in dreamweaver.

    Does drive me nuts when people start using MY/MS acronyms here mainly because for a while I have no idea what they are talking about. But yeah is no issue worth writing a thead over.


    What I do find more annoying though is when your in a squad with a random person who thinks they know your class better than you and when asked how they always come out with I had a 105 barb on MY/MS and apprently have played every class to 105 with super uber gear.... Thats like me telling you all I have a ferrari 599 GTO knowing you never have anyway of proving me wrong.

    lol I honestly dont care about people using Malaysian lingo if thats what they are used to.

    It's just many people, from LC mainly, use those terms to self proclaim their own supposed superiority. And that's when it gets...odd.

    For one thing, when they pretend not to know the International way of saying things, they only make themselves look incompetent, as not knowing those terms would have probably severely impeded on their ability to port to instances and get parties etc.

    But it's not just that show off usage of the lingo, it's the entire attitude. Sometimes people from pvp servers talk like its the hood over there. Not gonna lie, it is pretty hilarious.

    And I never played MY. But if you grow up on Lost City, you better damn well learn terms like HH, CV, gv, ep, etc. It's not about superiority (though obviously we are, just for other reasons b:cute), its about the terms used by everyone else.

    And come on, is it REALLY that hard to understand these terms?

    Goes to show, you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

    So to the OP: Once the whole server has got used to those terms, they stay. You can argue about it all you want, but if they want to say HH regardless of what the map says... then they will just say HH and theres nothing we can do about it b:surrender

    the usage of abbreviations from nonexistant words in PWI are kinda irritating but i dunno maybe the best thing is to ignore what they say. After all its a sign inability to adapt and look where it led their server to >.>

    I managed to almost completely rid RT of terms such as Hwilight Hemple by complete ridicule and frustration. Berating people that use those terms is the only way to achieve it.

    I think by now most ppl who use hh instead of tt is because that's just how they "grew up."

    Yes, 90% of the people who took me to learn "HH" had come from My (and 100% of them quitted long time ago b:laugh

    So they took me to "HH" and when I learned enough about the instance I took over newbs to "HH" and so on and so for. So this is kinda like a cultural thing, lol. It's like in English they have totally different words in different places for the same damned thing. Example: apartment and flat.

    If you are in Rome, do as the romans, and deal with us non-lost citizens b:bye

    I'm sorry you grew up in a deranged Rome. If the Romans suddenly decide drowning themselves in the Trevi Fountain was cool for the locals to do, would you do it :P?

    Tbf, idk why PWI gained the names they have for everything on this game, it puzzles me greatly, end of the day, pw-my and pwi are both the same game, just under different management, it would of made more sense and been a lot easier on us players that came from the MY servers, it took me a while to get used to the PWI names, perhaps a year or so to use the PWI terms properly, if there's players that quit MY years ago like me and still use MY terms, then they're just pure lazy, don't know what else to say.

    I will never get used to the fact that hierograms are called charms here, no matter how many years I play. b:surrender
    But most of the things I got used to very easily. b:cute

    I like how they used Latin words for some mobs / places tho. Love Beehive Aditum (Cube) / Wraith Te Deum, (Requiem of Wraiths) etc.
