Server Population

Which server is the most populated? I'm currently on Arch. and I can't even find a decent flying mount for my barb because everyone is selling packs b:cry
There's no one to help with FBs, BHs, and, God forbid, main quest bosses.
Please help!

    People seem to say that Arch is pretty damned empty for a server. Not sure tho that's just what i hear from others.

    Lost City / Heaven's Tear / Sanctuary are most populated.
    Dreamweaver and Raging Tides are next.
    Harshlands not too far behind.
    Archosaur is very empty and depressing.

    that's cuz arch is the newest server that was released around a year ago.

    Obviously, there won't be much ppl wanting to help with stuff.

    Haha I just started and I play archosaur, and the population is decent for my tastes? I always see people around when I'm questing - which can sometimes be annoying if there aren't enough monsters spawning and everyone is on the same quest. (granted, I'm still fairly new so keep that in mind xD) The west district of Archosaur city also seems to be pretty crowded. Are the other servers even more so? o_o;

    Besides being older, I think another reason the other servers are more populated is because their names are cooler. I wanted to join a different server because I liked the names, but I heard arch was the newest so I figured I should go with that.

    Arch blows. Been there since Minute 1 of server opening. Rolled 2 100+ chars on it. Its extremely low in population. The market is absolutely terrible.

    Then I rerolled on HT. And I was happy again.

    I get 80-90 FPS in the general world.

    I get 3 FPS in West, on a good day, on Sanctuary, with max performance on.

    i played arch for a long time and had a lot of fun on that server, but like you said its not very crouded, the market is terrible and honestly its not a very friendly server.

    so i moved to raging tide and have been enjoying it ever since.

    Lost City is fine for me and it'd be best choice of PvP server, I think. I remember getting 30k+ ping in Archosaur... b:shocked

    But I miss the times when City of the Lost on Heaven's Tear was full of catshops... Perfect World International: The Lost Empire - that was it! b:victory

    I can never get my psy on arch into FCs since there's only like 12 other 8x people on the server

    Kind of like Archo-HT was just waaayyy too crowded and I had at least 2-3 DC's walking around in west. Yeah I'll admit markets are better but you do have to realize that archo server was hit with 3 things- old crones form other servers bearing grudges, TW changes and then TT changes. Which has crippled the growth somewhat but I think it's changing very very slowly. Though its a sad day when people have to "borrow" people for TW's because there's just not enough...

    I often look at the population on the loading screen, according to that, most of the time Sanctuary, HT, DW and LC have HIGH others have MEDIUM. But it also depends on the time zone. I am in Europe and when Americans are sleeping, all of the servers go MEDIUM.

    I'm willing to bet that Archo never goes up into the 'high' level.

    I've seen Sanctuary at 'extreme' before, or whatever it was above 'high'. 'OD'? ICR. Then again, 3/4 of the connections to Sanct are catshops, so... Take it with a grain of salt.

    I leveled a veno to 30.

    Population was a lot lower than start of population on Raging Tide.

    And Everyone i met/talked too on vent were idiots. So these 2 factors discouraged me from playing further. All servers are worthy if you can find what your looking for and good friends.

    I find RT's population to be low as well when compared to LC/HT/Sanc though.

    Being someone who has a char on both arch and sanc, I have to say this:

    Many of the people are A) people who just started and are on arch because it is the first choice and people may not get what the difference might be. B) Are those people but have so much invested on that server they dont want to leave it.

    When first starting my char on sanc I was completely alone...never happened on arch. But when I hit the archo quests after lvl20 it was easy to get help, not only that but the people were more friendlier, less selfish, and seemed to play better than almost anyone that lvl on arch.

    The wc drama however I felt was quite a bit better on arch. One time on sanc I asked a random person for advice and he was THE MAN. He knew everything, answered all my questions thoroughly and didn't mind that a total stranger picked him off of a random wc lf squad post.

    Once im there a little longer I think sanc will be FAR greater, plus the economy there is way better. Gold is more expensive but perfect stones for 1k each is almost overpriced there. everything seems to be a little cheaper.......except for hay?....Anyways

    Yes arch is ok but sanc is better and im sure the other older one's are better as well.

    Economy is going through the crapper on Sanct. Stuff like Hay, and SoF/PF, drops, DQ, ETC., are going up and up in price. Apocalypse pages, for example, used to be 40k a pop. They're around 60k, only forced down by packs and being available from tokens. Subs used to be 30-32k, have gone up to 42-45k, regardless of tokens in this case.

    Though, you can get a lot of molds, lower level TT, and similar gear for 1.5 mil or less...

    Veno stuff, however, seems to be going up and up in price. Another reason I stopped playing mine entirely.

    Lost City, Heaven's Tear, Sanctuary, Dreamweaver, Harshlands = half empty
    Archosaur, Raging Tides = mostly empty.

    The most populated servers are not PWI's version of the game.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.
