Faction Issues

I am really sick of the faction I am in. I can't get help from ANYONE because the leader is level 18 (original leader is level 21 HA veno) and there is NO point to it. It's just a sit-around-and talk faction. As a matter of fact, all the leader does is talk about WoW. I am really tired of it, I would of deserted if not for 2 things:
1. I helped pay for it.
2. I don't want to abandon my friend
I had to pass down RomanGods offer because of this one... I would of loved to be in RomanGods, most of my friends are in it. Please help.

    She loves it too much... I am guessing she just likes being the leader of something she came up with.
    And my quests are very hard because I have to go in dungeons and kill a lot of bosses.

    Lol If you need help killing bosses, go ask for help in center Arch/world chat for help. I'm sure someone will be glad to help you. :) b:laugh

    You're stuck.

    You can either roll an alt and put it in another faction, or just deal with this.

    Some people use this game for the small chatbox in the lower left corner more than the bit box in the center that has the character and pew pew and other stuff in it. You have a friend who likes the former, while you yourself seem to like the Latter.

    Let me get this straight, you stay on the faction for this "friend" of yours, yet that same friend is someone who won't let you, the faction's director, recruit people? Why even make you director then?

    Maybe you should do some thinking about how your "friendship" with that person really works.

    On another note, this isn't something we can help you with. In this case, the solution is something that you alone must decide.

    I think your only option right now, if you don't want to stick it out anymore, is to talk to your friend. Tell her that this is not what you want out of a faction. Then, either try to convince her to recruit a few more higher levels, or FL her and move to a faction that suits your needs better.

    Yeah, your friend may be disappointed, but if she's a real friend, she'll come to see that you're happier in the long run. It's better than sticking it out in a faction that you're not enjoying, and it's not as if you and your friend can't still squad together, or go to the same chat room, or just pm back and forth.

    That's what I'd do in that situation, anyway. b:surrender

    Say something in faction chat that makes her momentarily angry enough at you so that she will kick you. Then quickly join the faction of your choice. Once she has calmed down enough to invite you back, you can be like "Ahhh man I'm really glad that you want me back, and I reeeeeaaallly want to go back to your faction, but I'm tied to this faction now, sorry =/, We can still stay in touch with pms?"

    Friendship = still in tact, hopefully
    Faction = the one you want
    Friend = can only blame herself for kicking you

    She might be worse off, but I think she gives you no choice due to her lack of consideration. Of course, the best scenario would be telling her the truth, and she understands like a good friend.

    You have two solutions.

    1) Leave. Sure she's your friend and all, but if you're miserable, that's just gonna make your gameplay miserable, all so that she can be appeased. If she pops a **** about you leaving, then that isn't really a friend, now is it?

    2) Build a decent fl and get help with your bosses that way. You'll be with your friend still, but you'll get **** done.

    Okay you have done something wrong.
    (1) You brought the issue to us making it larger than it is.
    (2) You refuse to properly assert yourself as an individual who has a life apart from his/her friend.
    (3) You let your friend make you miserable, it reflects badly on both you and her.

    Do the simple thing, Talk to Her/Him (you never know). What is the worst thing that will happen? she stops being your friend? If she does, for something so trivial, she does not deserve to be called a friend and is simply selfish. There are many ways to solve this. She can recruit high lvls and still talk with her little group while you have stronger people to protect the talkers. You can speak to her about leaving, or you can just leave. But above all, Talk to Her.

    if she was a true friend, she would understand, ive faced the same decision as you and i still keep in touch. you dont' have to be in the same faction to be some1's friend

    I had a similar problem... You should find a way to retain your friendship and let the other person know that for you it means more than just being in the same faction. There are plenty of good factions that are active and you can always meet great people there. b:victoryb:cute My two current mains are in two different guilds and they are both so amazing that I can't choose just one of them...

    You won't "abandon" your friend if you switch factions. :pp

    Exactly what everybody else has already said: it's up to YOU to make the decision on how to deal with this "friend" of yours, not us, the rest of the PWI community...if this friend is really a friend she/he will understand. if not, she he is not really your friend & needs to learn how to treat others better, as well as get a real life for herself/himself. If all else fails, you'll have a NEW group of HIGH-LEVEL friends to run with & your so-called friend will be the one worse off. But you'll have to learn to stand up for yourself, in any case, as well, especially if you're still just a kid (aka. Teenager or Very Young Adult). Hope this helps...

    My Veno been factionless till lvl70, i m trying to avoid them cause of all drama. I managed to suvive without any faction till lvl70 and now i m factionless again on my own free will, that every human beeing should have.
    dont act like a kid, who is chosing their life path cause of friends. friends come and go, do what you want to do to your own moral, otherwise you will end up making everyone else happy except yourself.
    If i m trolling and spamming on forum...then i cant sleep and need a good laugh

    If someone outed me as a retiring WOW player with a personality disorder on a public forum i would probably not wanna stay friends.
