Well, I have to question as my sins helm is warsoul +5 1x perfect & 1x imma citrine(old barb helm, gave to sin after he got forest wisdom), lvl 60 rank gear with 7 flawless citrines all together, that tauren +4 with 4 imma citrines I think(Also old barb gear) all of my gear is at least +1-2(mirage refining =p). I do have like npc bracers and low lvl 3* boots(+3 though, lol, mirages ). My sin dont have any added vit but still, that hp is kinda ridiculous, I`ve seen lvl 100 sins with 5.5k buffed hp, somebody having basically the same on 65, lol. Just made me wonder as my sins gear isnt overkill but it aint bad =p.

No, you really dont have experience of 10x squads, judging by your opinions. And what ppl did before? lol, just lol. They readjusted TT3-x and 3-3 is nowdays impossible, for the squads the gear is ment, to do, making your point moot. Only the aps squad/really highly refined ppl can do it fully nowdays. Old school axe barb has no place in those squads `cept for buffing and being the safety lock for boss, pull boss away while cleric resses with mystic buff(from somebody`s alt before going into TT). Few are willing to take barb in TT just for that, it`s not worth it, rather just have some kitty buff you before TT.

Just for saying, my barb got all the demon skills that might help for keeping aggro `cept for demon roar and I`ve seen R8 archer pull aggro from me with a bow on FC boss, R8 wizzie did that on fats in Eden, when I`m wielidng R8 myself. Would ppl not spark, I could keep aggro on bosses that are lvl "?" but seriously, who wants to spend 2-3x the time in instance just to have barb tank with axes?

I just would like to point out that do you realize all of your points are those of a cash shopper? What I am saying is that in order to play a game you do not need to be a cash shopper. At least, that is the way I play. And I have made all of my levels playing the old fashioned way. Yes I have been in TT runs of the higher levels. Yes I have been in 10x squads. Please do not assume you know about me when you don't.

My point is that at lvl 100, which is a joke even to f2p ppl, you will see the ridiculously easily obtainable R8s everywhere. Honestly, half of archosaur`s lvl 100+ got R8, I do doubt it would be any different on other servers if you, like you should, discount the inactive players. Barbs are simply broken in terms of aggro, aoe aggro we can hold somewhat decent in delta but 1 target? Nope, FR is simply outdated, the high refined lunars had to watch their damage. Now we got cheap R8s, which are basically lunars +8-10(cant remember exactly), hence there could be lot more dps if barb could actually hold aggro.

The whole attitude of "barbs are only meatshields & more defence at any cost" is simply stupid. If tank cant keep aggro, he is no tank, period. Asking DDs to hold what? Over 50% of their dmg output? Does that yell "super tank" to you? 5aps ppl will actually have to hold out over 50% of their dps in order for barb to hold aggro. That doesnt apply to same extent with other DDs but with R8, only maybe casters can go all out with low refined R8 and not pull aggro in instance where boss is lvl "?", what bout the FBs/etc? Yeah, those are funny, there they too will have to hold out major porpotion of their dps and real dps might want to not attack at all, lol. Problem isnt the aps, it`s that every DD who can invest enough time or money to get what, 100gold will pull aggro out of barbs that have invested lot more.

In terms of PvE, clawbarb is by far the best tanking build, simply due the fact of being able to create so much more aggro out of dps than you could ever build with skills, like the axe barb will have to do. Even if BMs/Sins could create more aggro, the difference in holding back is major compared to what they would have to hold back with axe barb. But what about the "tank needs hp"? Only thing I have ever done PvE wise, where 15k would not be enough, is WBs. I`m not saying every barb should be clawbarb but I do say that the attitude of "just get more hp" is one of the dumbest ideas ever to be part of barbs life. I dont care if you do it yourself but I do care when you talk bout it like it was some general golden rule that should never be questioned.

Ps. Barbs are broken, one to try to go around the problems aint dumb, one that keeps banging his head into the wall in other hand is.
