Oh! Idea! Instead of letting your players spend their money to get a base and then let them try to GUESS how to run it, why don't you give us some basic info?

HOW the xp of the base effects the base lvl'ing, HOW to update your base once you reach the requirements, HOW to lvl each wing of the base, WHAT are tech points, HOW you earn them and HOW to use them.

THINKING OF THE SMALLER FACTIONS HERE: If your faction doesn't have at least 80 lvl 50+ characters to do daily base quests, you really shouldn't bother even obtaining a base with the hope of gaining base health over the 100 hp you start with. If PWI is going to require that a specific amount of points be acquired daily, then shouldn't a faction be required to have a certain number of players to obtain a base? I was horrified when I thought of some small faction going through all the motions to obtain a base and how they would ultimately lose the base when they were unable to maintain it through not having enough faction members. The TW factions will be fine, medium sized factions like ours need to be careful, small factions.... DON'T DO IT!

How about we get to keep ALL of the donated construction points for the faction base? Whats up with that? Donate 200 points and the base only gets 194? FAIL idea!!! The base should be receiving point for point whatever the faction members are donating.

Also having ONLY the faction leader be able to do anything inside the base is proving to be a strain on our faction. Maybe the leader should be the only one to lvl up the wings etc., but the director should at least be able to handle menial tasks, like materials storage.

Unfortunately we are learning the lesson the hard way through many painful errors, like losing a base hp point because we didn't know that we wouldn't be able to do base quests when we upgraded the monolith ............ for TWELVE HOURS!!! It said it would take SOME time, not half a day that we would be unable to do our base quests! b:beatup b:angry Shorten the time or notify the faction leader just how long the process will take, rather than some vague innuendo.

Give your player base some consideration, although I am not sure what to expect from the devs. They throw content at us with an attitude of "sink or swim!". b:surrender I'm tired of drowning. Would it be so difficult to have someone properly translate info or the additional info added to the "Help" screens to properly guide players through the game? The base exam questions are horribly translated and you have to guess what they really meant!

A little mystery to figure things out isn't bad, but this is a severe break down in communication on the devs behalf. If you bought an item you had never seen before, didn't know how to use it, and you had to assemble it... I'll bet you would be scrambling around to try and find the directions!!!

    we are losing our base fast too and it took us lot to get it and we are trying with all we have i hope they change it so it is not so hard

    I do agree... They've been putting out new things lately, but not giving any guides or anything to let you know what's up. Everyone has to guess at the faction base, and they didn't even put the new MQ rewards in the patch notes.

    The base simply another Chinese coin sink and you people are falling right for it.

    Faction monolith lvl 1 & 2: Each character doing all base quests will receive 210 construction points. You will lose a base health point, if you do not achieve 5k base xp every day. Because you don't get the full amount of construction points donated (you lose 3%) you will need approximately 26 characters to turn in the base quest every day just to maintain your base health.

    You need to acquire 15k base xp (construction points) to get 1 base hp point. This will require a minimum of 77 characters turning in their base quests.

    As the monolith lvls the contribution and construction points received for the quests increase, therefore making it easier to obtain the needed construction points. I suggest smaller factions upgrade their monoliths before upgrading any of the wings. The Hall of Loyalty, where the faction monolith is, determines the health and strength of the base. Upgrading the monolith will provide more construction points for the base at lvl 3.

    I fully agree that the way the faction base system is designed is everything but not user friendly.

    Faction base wars --> you have to defend even if someone decides to attack you and your faction doesnt want to do wars at all + the faction base wars will destroy many bases with mats only for a few winning factions = no wars at all is the best situation to ensure a constant faction base growth

    faction base quests--> the simple fact that the faction base loses HP if the members fail to complete their dailies forces people to play on a daily basis. I guess it is wrong to say the faction base gets destroyed when the hp reaches 0 because the only way to keep the base hp up is to boot all members from a faction who dont do their daily quests = only the nerds will be left because 1 casual player who logs in once a week will cost the faction to much points.

    ok i dont see any1 respond to the part about points why are we only getting 130 points instead of 210? and as leader i certainly wouldnt mind if my director can do materials exchange but for the one who cried about how long it take to upgrade monolith it does say how long it takes b4 u start and u can shorten it by using more mats that u have stored so 12 hrs becomes 11 if u use more wood water metal sand etc and as u lvl ur base and can hold more mats u can use more to make it even faster

    no, its not 130 points out of 210. You will get 203 points out of the 210. You lose 3% as some kind of strange fee system PWI uses.
    However, you are right, it does say how long it will take to upgrade (as director I can't see the screen my leader looks at in order to do the upgrades) and yes you can use additional mats to make it faster, but 10 hours and 45 minutes is still way too long for the monolith to be down and obstructing members from doing their base quests for the smaller factions.

    My fac base is losing hp the main reason being...
    those quests are fking boring.

    same 2 mobs every godamn day.

    people are feddup of them, im feddup of them.

    this "**** boring quests to keep ur base from dieing" feature needs to be removed. -_-

    I agree that the faction base is a good IDEA. I also agree that PWI's execution of it STINKS ON ICE. The very fact that a base can be attacked and taken away from a guild, after they have sunk a huge amount of money and work into it, is just FAIL!

    I am going to be starting a new guild this weekend. I am NOT in any way going to consider having a guild base. I cannot see wasting my time and coin (and real money), nor that of my guild members, on such a badly-executed idea.

    Fix it or forget it.
