Light armor or arcane armor? What's the best type of armor for instances?
I wanted to go full magic for a better healing efficiency and a better magic attack.
Im still lvl 36 so I can switch to LA before its too late.
Any advices please?

If you use 1 dex, 1 str, 3 mag every level then you can wear both types. Also choosing full magic vs. something else is a little different from choosing arcane armor or light armor. The former is about choosing where to put stat points while the latter is what armor to wear though they are a little related.

    Light Armor Pros:
    - Higher hp/pdef than arcane armor
    - Higher crit rate (Note: heals do not crit so this does now help with healing)

    Light Armor Cons:
    - Lower mp
    - Lower magic attack so weaker damage and heals
    - Lower mp regeneration rate
    - Neither pdef nor mdef are particularly great
    - Light armor pros are really only pertinent in the early game since your survival improves as you level and get more skills, gear, and practice.

Arcane Armor (or pure/hybrid mag) Pros:
    - Stronger damage
    - Stronger heals
    - Greater mp pool
    - Greater mp regeneration rate
    - Great mdef
    - Weaknesses can be mitigated via:
    ... gear
    ... buffs
    ... vit
    ... sharding
    ... refining
    ... practice with skills

    Arcane Armor Cons:
    - Weak hp/pdef for the most part

Personally I suggest arcane armor with either a pure magic or a hybrid where you place some points into vit to boost your hp usually with a cap.

    Hope I Helped ^^

I acane, larger mana pool and after a while you kill mobs faster than they can get to you and of course better heals. Also light armor isn't that great overall.

    Yay, three conflicting arguments! \o/

    Lmao @ GdByeElsA xD.

And at the OP, Yes I would say go AA. I was an LA (Light armor) cleric and I have to say it sucked. Heals and damage are low Q_Q so I restated to metal mage cleric (Thanks to a friend :D ) and I like it :D. So yeah if you want to see sexy damage and give nice heals go AA cleric pure or hybrid.

Who needs bloodpaint and 5 aps when you can self heal then aps away!

Wanted to add that the LA route doesn't leave room for adding to vitality (1 str 1 dex required for armor and 3 for magic weapon each level). Some people do by pulling even further from their magic, but... The idea there is more defense means you need less hp, and LA refines slightly better than arcane.

The arcane route leaves a little wiggle room for adding to vitality. I still recommend going with lower or no vitality but the choice is yours.

Personal view? Go arcane with 30 vit, restat it out later (99+) unless you feel brave enough or are willing to refine/shard a little bit. I never added to vit and the stronger heals cover my lower hp. LA seems to be the poor-man's route for people who know they won't be sharding or refining their gear and are okay taking it out on their squad with weaker heals.
Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory

I myself went arcane, Simply because to me, it makes more sense for a healer to have planty of mana, and stronger healing, just make sure to shard your gear with HP gems when you get into the higher level range.
Only downside with arcane is you die easily, even when questing. But as long as you keep IH up you should be fine.

Ive always wanted to make a Heavy armoured cleric for pvp though, they look interesting :)
