Until what level is this an effective weapon? I was wondering about this due to the speed. Or can this easily be used til level99? (r8)

    Somewhere between level 80-85 you should probably replace it. While it racks up decent APS, when you get a Broad Land the DPH that it can put out kinda makes the W&C obsolete. If you don't get a Broad Land, there are some other 8x bows that can work quite well to. (Though a Broad Land should only cost ~11mil)

    IE iirc with Rank top the W&C is about 0.8 aps, while a BL would be 0.69. However the BL has more minimum damage, and a lot more max damage, and can Proc for more fun. While the W&C might attack ~20% faster, it's damage range potential is kinda low (IIRC max hits with W&C unsparked is like 16k, while BL can hit over 23k).

    Refine it to +5 and yes, it'll last until 99.

    PvP wise, no.

    +3 with Flawless+ Garnet , maybe till 90 for sure , but refines for 99 just dont worth it imo.
    at 85 Vast/Broad Land are good bows till u get R8 or shatterer. Im using mine till then , after i swap to vast.

    i still use mine at 91. i use it if im in a situation i need to lower my damage some or in a FF, i use it when im on hands detail and then after for the heads. mine is at +4. my main weapon is a vast land for now unless i come across a broad land for a good price, then ill move on to the rank 8 bow once i hit 100.

    Yeah, i'm level90 but the TT weps really dont look that much better (Dragonbow, Blinding Radiance). Thanks for the great help!

    vastlands is also a good replacements i just replaced it and might i add MUCH cheaper though i can't complain i got mine for free :D

    I was gonna use mine until 90.

    I stopped using mine almost completely at 80 when I got Soulsmasher.

    And I stopped using Soulsmasher now that I have Windcatcher.

    Wind and the Clouds at +4 took longer to kill a mob than Soulsmasher did unrefined. I've got one +3. Windcatcher is about the same APS as my Soulsmasher, but hits harder (this is comparing procced Soulsmasher to Windcatcher), unrefined vs +3. So I'm gonna refine the Windcatcher and semi-retire the Soulsmasher for now.
