Did any1 every get a Baby Herc or Nix when purchasing the "Perfect Pack/Chest"?

I spent over $200 on these and didnt get anything b:cry

I ended up spending another $200 (or actually bout $120) to get enough for a baby herc.

I just wanted to know... I wish I could get compensated some how but I am not gonna expect it.... just b:sad that i spent so much.

I guess on the bright side i got enough shards, mirage stones to refine lots of gears & improve them.

I got about 6 dalmations so i sold all for a small amount of $6M coin and got 4 fliers which i will sell another one and was able to use the others on my other characters...

So overall i guess it may not be that bad... what do u guys/gals think?

Was it just a waste or not?b:question

    Buying any packs on this game, expect to lose, don't expect to actually get the item you're wanting by opening a few packs, the most likely chance is you will be on the losing end of it.

    I'd say it was a waste, but that's the packs intentions, to rob your money without the person really realizing, till it's to late.

    that's a fairly cheap herc; you got it at about $60 off of regular non-sale prices, so you saved about a third.

    or, well, you would have, if you hadn't gambled more than the regular price on packs first. thanks for helping to keep the game "free to play", i guess. b:chuckle

    people sell herc for like 40-60m on dream weaver. and Pheonix a bit more expensive..and herc is too slow at solo instances. its all about 5aps now dude... For 200 dollars, i would get a rank 8 on my sin..and the other 100 for nirvana pants. and have 25mil left over...then for an extra 130m, i'd buy a nirvy daggers..then 3-4man nirvy and make 3mil+/hour.. and earn all my money back this week. thats what i would do with 300 bucks...or make a 5aps BM..

    yes thats what i would have done also... my firend made 30mill in a few hrs... mabn i need to lvl and get more aps...

    It's a gamble. That is all.

    In my case, I bought 7 of them, and got a herc on my 3rd one. But later I bought 200 more, and didn't get any more (got a few dalmations though)

    I also got 2 perfect gems, a sapphire and citrine, which have a 0.03% and 0.04% chance to get. That angered me a bit, seeing how a herc/nix have a 0.2% chance.

    So I got lucky for the wrong item. b:cry

    Oh well maybe I didnt search hard enough but I didnt see any hercs on sale. i did see the items you need to get a herc egg. But there was not enough.

    Also getting a herc I can solo instances way sooner than I can with your suggestion. So I will use my herc to earn enough money/get mats etc to make my own b:pleased

    So I think although it was expensive, I will gain back what I spent many times over b:pleasedb:laugh

    To: _Skai_ - Raging Tide WHAT ur 3rd try!! Now I am sooo mad. What was your whole reason in getting them if you got 200 more? I am sure you got tons of mirage stones and other shards, right? I have like 4K perfect stones, 2k flawless shards, 50 inclement shards( not sure what they are called exactly but the next lvl above flawless), bout 6 puppies, 2 untamed flyers, 1 elf flyer, 1 human flyer.

    How about the Marvelous Box... what is the percentage of getting a Tome Fragment Pack (3)?

    I have enough items to make a lvl 4 tome or even 5 if i just had tome fragments...

    Ok so 300 dollars is roughly equal to 300mil, a bit less but for simplicity, let's say its 300mil.

    70mil - rank 8

    Nirvana daggers: 100 raps @ 1.5mil each - 150mil. The TT99 daggers would probably run you about 10 to 15mil. You'll probably want to 2 socket the TT99 and then transfer the refine, but let's assuem you don't want to. So 160mil at best.

    Total so far - 230mil rough

    You still don't have the nirvana legs, the LA boots and wrists, or the lunar cape. Or the TT99 lionheart ornaments.

    So with your rank 8 and your nirvana daggers, you have a grand total of 1.67 aps base, with a whopping 2.22 sparked. Lets say you get a lunar cape, that's about 40mil. So then you're now up to 1.82 base or 2.5 sparked, not to mention that all of that gear is unrefined, unsharded. You'll probably need to use the last of your money to get +5 on your daggers so it isn't completely terrible DPS.

    True but im lvl only 49 on my Veno... Why would I spend so much on gear I will not be able to use till much later?

    Also I think that with my new found tank I will be able to do just that.. farm... and make back all that I spent.

    And on the bright side i now have enough stones to last me till rank 8 or even 9 so no longer have to worry about that.

    I forgot how much it was to get flawless shards on my archer but i know it was high.

    Plus by the time i do get to that lvl i will have easily $500+ ready to spend. I just hate spending it when I can work for it in game.

    I wanted the herc since i heard you can solo a lot and know that veno's r easy to farm/make money and I have proven myself several times since I also play archer, sin, and barb... so overall i thnk i did good (even though i had to spend a lot more than i wanted to).

    Okay moving on... how likely is the chance to get a fargment tome using the marvolous chest?

    do you mean a mystical tome fragment? those are pretty cheap in-game; shop around in the AH and catshops before buying any packs for them. i don't know what they go for on LC, but i would be very surprised indeed if the chance to get them from packs was high enough to make that route worthwhile.

    I opened about 150 of them and got 2 Herc's from them although I have seen more than one person get 3-4 Herc/Nix in quick succession. For your question on if it was a waste or not I would probably say that $300 of actual money is a great waste but that all depends on your point of view. On DW Hercs are going for about 55-65m I believe and Nix's are going for as low as 45m. I'm not sure about your theory of being able to make more than what you invested into the Herc though. I know quite a few high level veno's that would gladly sell their herc's for the going price now due to the fact that they can no longer farm as efficiently as they could before and it's going to take even longer since at your level there's really nothing to farm to make a decent profit off of.

    dstrkr, I still wonder why you did not simply buy zen and resold it as gold to buy the Herc. It is even more profitable these days.

    First to Lesthar - Heavens Tear: I could not find a Herc for sale. I guess i didnt try hard enough and got impatient. b:sad I should have been more patient and I am regretting it now. b:cryb:angry

    Either way I say I am still happy in a way since I got plenty of shards, perfect, and mirage stones in the process. I also got some flyers that I can choose to sell or keep.b:victory

    Okay now to LenieClarke... they sale on average about $150k per item in LC... i was lucky to get 9 for a total of $90k one time and made a lvl 2 tome. I have enough of every other item to make a lvl 3 or even 4 except the tomes. But I will only try getting 10 packs this time and see what I get.

    $320 for a herc is... uh, stupid expensive. They're about $200 if you just bought the damn pet packs, $320 would get you a herc and around halfway to a Nix.

    I am considering getting some of these packs because I want the garnet, cit, and sapphire shards that drop.

    Though, the packs dropping said shards are dropping shard prices in AH, so... Might be cheaper to just buy them from AH.

    YahI got the herc for about $120 and sevearl flyers & dalmations selling them all for a total of about 22Million & made a lvl 3 tome so far with all the items i got from the pack.

    So all in all I guess I am still over on spending $300 since I have no idea how much a lvl 3 tome costs.

    So I spent $120 on hercs, made 22million, and if a lvl 3 tomes is about 10million, then i still am over $148million b:shocked

    But I guess if I can get about 300 tome fragments I can make the love up/down tome which i am sure that will easily sell for about 200million.


    So I wonder how mcuh 300 tome fragments will cost?? b:puzzled

    I still have 3 perfect Best of Luck stones from the packs, and about 4k best of luck stones... so i think i can profit from my $300 i spent on packs....

    Not gonna do that ever again though
