OK , umm I want 2 try and get people talking about how the school system **'s up. When it comes 2 mind i will post an event in my life where one of my elder's wtf'ked up and try 2 blame it on me, or i do something and am unjustly punished 4 it.
I'm in the hallway @ school. ( just 4 the record I'm pretty tall so people think its OK 2 test my strength 5'11" age 15) Soooooo, this kid shoves me into my locker, since i saw he was messing with his friend i was pretty sure he did it by accident. i said " 'Scuse me, u just shoved me into my locker it it really hurt".
i Expected him 2 say " oh man I'm sorry I didn't mean to"
He said " **** off J@p" and he shoved me again. Now notice that he shoved me again and didn't apologize 4 his previous shove and that counts as instigation and bullying.
I kicked his ****, i got suspend 4 5days,and a "very serious talking 2" from the principal and a new video game from my parents as a reward.
He got principles sympathy, 2 day suspension.
And i had 2 move my locker 2 "avoid further altercation", so we i got back 2 school i had 2 get AAAALLLL of my stuff 2 my new locker and learn a new locker combination and get used 2 the locker move.
I've been told what i did was horrible, IDK about you but i think i was punished unjustly. Try 2 convince me otherwise if I'm wrong.b:surrender

A few things about the post:
1. I REALLY hope you're being ironic with the massive amounts of spelling and grammar errors. Given that this is about schools messing up, I think that such a thing is possible, but if not, then I think getting unjustly punished is probably the least of your worries. b:surrender
2. No, I don't think you were punished unjustly. At least, not entirely. He might be the antagonist of the fight, but you threw the first punch (at least that's what you made is seem like). The best thing you could have done was to NOT give the other guy the satisfaction of such a strong response. If you ever see something like this happen again, and your friend is getting shoved around like you said, then simply use that height of yours, go p to your friend, and calmly walk away with him, not giving the other person/people and acknowledgment. That way your friend doesn't get pushed around, you don't get in trouble, and the bullies don't get the satisfaction of trying to prove themselves against you. At least, that's my advise.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have to agree here!! If my 11 year old wrote like this, her two days would be spent learning to use a spell checker.0 -
Yeah, I agree with the people above me... You're not going to school for the people, or your friends or whatever, your education is being paid for for you to actually learn. Obviously with the way you spell you haven't learned much at all...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I'm sorry for the two people who disagree with this guy, but I am gonna put this bluntly. If somebody even tries to harm a friend of mine I will beat them senseless until I see blood coming from some part of their body. But that is me and the fact I know where the hell to hit...
But anyhow, since the person doing the shoving was the person instigating the action if I was the principle in the situation I would of looked at you both. Gotten both of your stories and then based my decision on which sounded right. Which if I was told by both you and the person doing the shoving that somebody got shoved, I would tell the kid who was antagonizing your friend that he is gonna have a week suspension and another 3 days of ISS. As for you, I would applaude you for helping your friend but I would give you 2 days of ISS because you did throw the first punch in this arguement.
So yes, I do believe he unjustly punished you, but then again unless you know how to sweet talk the higher ranks of a school, or just know a ton of dirt on them thanks to your family history (Damn I love my granny and mom, nobody in my home town tries to **** talk me unless they want something appearing on the front of the newspaper the next day about them b:chuckle).
Anywho, I really don't have any stories I wish to share out in public because they are part of the past. That is where I plan to keep it to.
Though I will say this once more for those of you who thought I was kidding at the beginning, if you even TOUCH a hair on a friend of mine and they alert me or I see it. Just be ready to be in the hospital b:cuteNothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~

I'm sorry but this viewpoint of regular public schooling is, quite bluntly, asinine.
This "learning " you speak of remains undefined in today's school systems as their programs mainly consist of memorizing stacks of irrelevant information that will do no good other than to help you pass their own tests.
No true learning or thinking skills are implemented in schools. And the employees of the school system think its ok to treat students like ****.
I see this current situation as an incongruency. Technichally the instigator laid his hands on OP first, therefore I believe the punishment was unjust.
It's messed up that some cowardly ***** can get away with doing all the instigating and as long as they don't throw the first punch, they won't bear the blunt force of any consequences.
Some people really do deserve to get their *** wooped. If I was in the same situation I would have done the same. And I would have considered being suspended added reward as I hated going to school anyway.
Which brings me to remember the time I got kicked out of middle school for ditching. It went from me leaving because I didn't want to be there to them giving me the official ok to not be there. And here they thought they were punishing me.0 -
One time, there was a rumour going around in school about my brother and me.. (I won't get into the details because it's very dumb and how in the world anyone thought of it is beyond me, lol). Anyway, one day in my brother's homeroom, he had his iPod in, and these guys were sitting next to him talking to each other about the rumour. I wasn't there, but apparently my brother knocked over the desks after listening for a few minutes, then slammed the one guy up against a wall and proceeded to punch him. My brother got a 3 day suspension for sticking up for us. While the people with the rumours got nothing. Dumb, huh? My mum wasn't mad or anything, so all was well.
I think if you have to stick up for yourself, do it. If your parents understand, that's even better. Sometimes principals are dumb, lol. I think they are afraid of the bullies just as much sometimes. b:surrender
Also, don't get mad over the flames of your spelling. Sometimes it's nice to have a break from proper english and grammar when you're in school, lol. All the essays and **** you have to do... it's nice to type in text speak
Oh, bloodrain, i HATED school too. Senior year I went about 20 days and on the last few months of school, they put me on homebound cuz they didn't want a drop out. I graduated by writing an essay. b:thanks
(sadly the diploma has done nothing for me but get me a job at a grocery store... and they said i NEEDED it)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I took at home classes online to pass, which is where I discovered pwi
I didn't mind school at first but the deans and authorities started to pick on me because they didn't like the way I looked. I didn't even wear anything against the dress code, and they would still make excuses to yell in my face.
And I'm generally very poor at recollection of information so it's not hard to see where a system based entirely on mindless recollection would discourage me, then I decided I just didn't want to take the **** anymore.
So I went out and I made some of the best memories in my lifetime. They tried to make me feel bad about it, but I couldn't give a damn.
I tried to care again in high school, so when I got classes that I couldn't keep up with I ran around between the counselors and the teachers trying to get any kind of help. The counselors impressed me with the various ways they had come up with to say "you're screwed" and the teachers, well they turned out to be blatant liars.
One incident I remember from one of my high schools was a ***** girl talking ****. Mouthin off real loud about another girl. The other girl gave a warning that she'd woop her *** if the badmouthing didn't stop. And the badmouther's reaction was to cry and run to the school office and get the other girl suspended. I couldn't believe it.
I felt that schools had their priorities all skewed, either that or they were thinking about liabilities.0 -
I have on thing to say and one thing only, American public school system is a freaking joke and needs to die in a fire. That is all.Demon_Troll: "takes on the appearance of an innocent archer but turns into a mindless idiot once you hear him speak"

I went to a private school (not Catholic), and I experienced the worst injustices ever while there. There was a major clique in my class, and I didn't fit in. Needless to say, bullying ensued.
While I was being bullied (went from K-3, then 6-12....sad, right?), nothing ever went right for me. A large part of that was that the "leader" of the clique (the biggest guy in my class) was the son of the school secretary. He, according to her, was an angel, and so anything that happened must be my fault... I got sooo many suspensions from that disillusionment...
Eventually, I planned to do bad on work, just so that I was no longer the stereotypical 4.0 geek student...so that I would fit in... Epic fail. They didn't care; rather, they decided that me being "bad" at sports was the new reason for bullying. I wasn't that bad, it's just that fair tryouts are never held at a school where parents coach teams...
Eventually, I got the chance to prove myself in sports (pretty darn good soccer goalie), so they reverted back to the reasoning of me being the geeky smart student. At that point, I was a junior, had gotten a 29 on my ACT, and couldn't have cared less what they thought. However, this led to me not having...any friends, really. I became depressed, and pretended I was sick just too avoid having to go to school. I barely went to school enough days my senior year to pass, and I was just glad to be done there. (I took my ACT again, just to see how I would do: I got a 30...on 5 hours of sleep and really sick.)
As for the 2 years I didn't attend that private school, I went to a public elementary school, which had a program for advanced students...best 2 years of school for me.
Well, there's my sob story..er...my "Skool WTF?"0 -
Damn that kind of **** makes me wonder why parents even make their kids go to private schools.
That does remind me of my middle school principal's daughter,
wearing fishnet tops and ***** boots while the rest of us got in trouble for having more than one ear piercing(even though it wasn't against the rules)0 -
well, yeh, if that person was bothering a friend of yours, no problem with standing up for them.
However, I do think you should be punished for what you did. If the school lets such things go unnoticed soon everyone will be beating eachother up for **** like that.
Also, yeh, the person who freaks out first, doesn't matter if it's physical contact or simply raising your voice. Unless the other person responds the same way...
You lost.
Better said. You should've stayed calm.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

You try to stay calm when someone shoves you violently twice and blatantly insults you for your race/nationality/status
"**** like that" lol.0 -
Actually yes. I do always try to stay calm, because I know violence vs violence isn't going anywhere but 2 ppl beating the **** out of eachother. b:bye
If you stay calm you don't only gain respect, but you also learn how to handle different situations. I've been bullied all my life, and I've tried a lot including violence. I noticed however, it never goes anywhere when using violence. People will bully you even more and come after you when you win the fight, as by revenge. When you lose, it's almost the same 'cept that they'll bully you then because you're "weak".
By staying calm however I achieved a lot more, at a certain point there's no fun in it anymore. Especially not since I never got the blame anymore from anyone.
By staying calm you reflect their behaviour to them. Suddenly people will see that they are the childish ones and not you.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

ty a lot guys 4 the advise. much appreciated.
Another story came 2 mind.
We're @ lunch one day, w8ing in line 4 our food. My friend Jammie stopped getting school food, because one of the lunch ladies is calling him a f@g. Jammie IS homosexual but none of his friends or teachers treat him differently. I went to the principals office telling them about what the lunch lady is saying. He said that he would take care of the situation. I was happy so i told my friend that it's OK to get on the school lunch line now because she'll stop calling you names. The next day she called him that name again. Since the principal already didn't do anything IDK who to go to, to help me friend. He's scared to go to his mom because he thinks she won't do anything ( I'm scared if he does tell his mom, who she's gonna kill). I'm saying that,THAT was a school WTF.
This isn't unjust punishment, but i think a problem like this should be taken care of and yes i know he can just bring lunch from home but that's beside the point.0 -
Now that one's an entirely different problem that no matter what you do or who you talk to, there's not much that can really be done about. Well, unless you can manage to change societies views on the subject of **** and lesbians. There are some stupid, ignorant people out there who have nothing better to do than to make fun of people just because they prefer one kind of person over another, and that's not gonna change. Ever. People can say whatever they want, and your principal can't do much of anything about it unless he catches
her red handed. It sucks, but at least if name calling is all he's getting then he's better off than others who have to suffer through worse.
All I can really say is to remind your friend of two things: *** means happy and a f.aggot is a bundle of sticks. b:chuckle[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Be nice to people0 -
Advice for your friend:
If he can swipe some choloform from a pool place or just purchase it, w/e. Have him put it on a rag, just a lite damping on it, and ask the lunch lady "Which of these rags smells like choloform?". Then just keep repeating it until she either figures out that each time she calls your friend a f@g that she is gonna be knocked out, or otherwise.
Though personally if I had a lunch lady call me that and the principle didn't do anything, let's just say the lunch lady would learn why I can make a trucker blush.Nothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~

he needs to have the guts to fight back or he will never get over his problems. running away from your problems(making his own lunch or not getting at all) won't help at all. And you're his friend why didn't you back him up or at least give that lady a taste of her own medicine? b:sad/l、

There should be taken action against such things. Teens bullieng eachother sucks.. but grown-ups bullieng teens? gtfo... had that myself for a while too... It's hard to stand up to that, I know by experience. Even my friends didn't stood up for me back then(which still bothers me even though I understand)
That person should at least apologise, or should be fired. Honestly I don't know how tolerant people in America are about people that are *** or ****, but I know that hardly anyone in this country is even surprised if people tell them they're ***.
Anyway.. I suggest going to the principle with it, over... and over... and over... and over again. If it doesn't help. Take parents with you. It sounds childish maybe. And maybe it is. But I do know nothing at my school happens untill we send our parents in... And hell.. everyone in my class is 18 years and older... .__."[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Then you weren't fighting the way I did. I was bullied too and got into fights with boys and girls, quite a few in which i was outnumbered.
I always stood back on my feet and I always defended myself.
This came after years of "staying calm" and seeing none of this "gained respect" you speak of.
After my feisty phase, I learned how to deal with anger and quell what could turn into a fight as well, but that kind of thing encompasses much more than this simple abusable mantra of "staying calm".
Staying calm is only one small factor that can help, but that alone will probably get you even more beat up by others.

Jack n' Jill
Itsy bisty spider ( it's not really creepy but wouldn't the spider have died?)
Rock-a-bye Baby
Humpty Dumpty
There was an old woman
Goosey goosey gander
Peter pumpkin eater.
Most of these are extremely disturbing, and i just want 2 kno wabout the ones you've heard or the ones that've been sung to you and tell me what you think.b:victory0 -
Nursery rhymes well, I was never into them as a little kid. I mean I knew em, but they were whatever.
Disney movies on the other hand....
