One way to fix cleric problem.

A Quest of dungeon of bh or fb or something that gives good reward. That will need atleast 2 healers. Because most squads only take 1 healer. And other classes take 2+ of any class. Because clerics are the weakest pve DD.

    If the squad is good 3-3 can be easily done with only 1 cleric. :o

    Why would I wanna squad with another cleric if the healing job is easy? I can just get another DD to make the run faster.

    If the squad feels like they should get a second cleric then sure, get another one, it's safer. But if the instance is just IH>IH>IH>puri(maybe?)>IH>IH>IH or BB or occasional aoe heal, then 1 cleric is just fine.

    How would this fix the cleric problem? There's already not enough clerics.

    The only way to fix the cleric problem is to make them OP, or to change the game mechanics entirely so it's actually fun to heal.

    Cleric problem? Ever think you cant find a squad because you're terrible at life and you're the worst cleric to ever disgrace the game of PW.

    Have to agree here, i hate second cleric in squad. Nothing against my own class, but we are still "clerics", we react as we suppose to and we end up both healing.
    I wouldnt QQ about it either tho, cause

    1. Clerics are always needed, check out the world chat
    2. Clerics have second pick in TT
    If i m trolling and spamming on forum...then i cant sleep and need a good laugh

    To my knowledge Squads don’t take just one Cleric because Clerics are terrible DDs. Most parties take one cleric because their lucky if they can get their hands on even One.

    The problem, at least on Heavens Tear, isn’t that there are not enough Parties for the number of clerics; there are not enough clerics for the number of parties.

    Good effort but I don’t think this would force/compel people to make and play clerics.
    Finding Solutions to many of your problems starts by looking in the mirror and accepting a small measure of responsibility

    I find the worst thing you can often do is have 2 clerics (particually if one doesn't speak the other's language at all, or well :P ). You end up both doing silly things, or getting lazy, and people die... A lot more often than if you were on your own... E.G;
    I was in a BH squad, with another cleric, she left, for no real reason, was still online though, and we'd had 3 or 4 party wipes? After she left ~ None at all :). Wasn;t that she was a fail cleric, it's just that clerics work better, one-in-a-squad.
    (altho, i've had some TT's with ver good double-cleric teams :D. I on debuff / DD the other on BB (or RB with veno-pet-tank))

    The best squads I've ever run in have had three clerics in them. I have a L97 cleric and I think it's a lot of fun. However, when I complained about the slowness, because I like to complain about it when I switch from my demon veno, I got an interesting response. Clerics are slow because their stat to damage ratio is high. So, in essence, we are good DDs and to make up for the power we get they hold back on our speed. The theory is completely acceptable to me.

    Also at my level I normally 2-3 hit things. Worst DD? Pfft, clerics don't DD 'cause our squad job is to heal, it's not because we're weak. XP
