    I agree that compared to RoC enrage is more of a carebear but regardless,enrage isnt the only faction on the server that has players with Gear that was bought instead of earned. In fact there are rumors that both drakon and GD have bought rank gear for some of the members just to increase their chances of winnign.Free to play or pay to win is irrelevant in this situation since everyone has to adapt to the situation or stop playing.

    1st forgive me for further derailing the original topic. I think it's not a matter of "who is more badass/carebear" when it comes to RoC and Enrage. When I was a puny cleric in RoC, the principle boiled down to "do/talk whatever you want, just be prepared to back it up." I think RoC members *cough Aes* can distinctively remember Hong saying, "just back it up" to our...louder members. =P Enrage, on the other hand, had a more "griefing" nature. I wouldn't say that it was our principle to make people angry--certainly wasn't mandatory--but it was what made the guild laugh when people cried about it...so we grieved people.

    People say old Enrage was based off RoC principle. Personally, I think the only thing they really shared were roughly 85 old RoC members (when enrage was created. It's like 15 now) and the "us-vs-server" mentality (that is obviously still around -_-). Different principles, different results.

    Enrage "going carebear" now compared to earlier on...that's another story. Is there a line at oracles? Do world bosses take 45 mins still? Who actually dies from a boss lure nowadays? Pking afk peeps during world quest...wait whats that? Cube...well you still see the occasional angry wchat -_- People used to complain about Enrage ruining the game over all that kind of stuff. But look at the game now when we don't grieve ppl (as much)--somuchmorefun!...right? For all the complaining the server's done, it's very ironic to hear ppl recall the earlier times of "badass" enrage with a positive note and the current "carebear" enrage as such a negative thing.

    yeah GD gives free R9 to members, GTIMIKEE charges zen like a hero to give everyone the rank 9 ring, the rest will come if you do your guildbase quests everyday and show up for TW.

    I do agree with almost everything you said Alpha, though I have to say that this one point is really no longer the case. As an example, for the last month or so in pk Enrage, Radiance and Karma have generally tended to stick together.

    I also think a lot of the server is pretty happy that the old Enrage can't grief in the way they used to :)

    It was a mistake I made when Archosaur first came out. Wasted a good 3 weeks of my time.



    Please, read that thread Saeidon! It was very, well...entertaining to say the least. Although the headaches I got from reading the posts by Ducka weren't worth it.

    Just saying.....the entire server ignoring Dominus thing, they will strike back and we will be sorry. :(

    I can see it now, first they will take out Radiance, next GD, and with Enrage being like..."You can't beat us and stuff", Domnius pwns Enrage, causing an imbalance in our server's......ways.
