FPS issues & Crashing

Okay so here's the story, I got my computer in January of 2010, played PWI on full graphics with NO LAG or FPS issues until January of this year (2011). Now I have to run my game in "best performance" mode AT ALL TIMES, even so, I get waves of 1-3 FPS that last for long stretches of time. Eventually the game will snap back to a normal amount of FPS (20+) but only for a few minutes. Then the game goes back into FPS lag mode. I've tried every solution I can find on the internet or think of on my own, please help!
Another problem I've been having is that whenever I leave my cat shop up overnight or when I am AFK I always come back to the error reporting screen. I have changed the settings on my computer so that it will not go to sleep or go into power save mode, but still, the game crashes. I don't understand what makes my game crash (sometimes it crashes when I am not AFK as well). This really irritates me because I can't sell anything in my cat shop if my game crashes every time I leave. Any answers?

It could be a few things. Feel free to send in a ticket to Tech Support with the following information so we can try to figure this out for you. We need you to send us some of your computer's information.
1) What is the make and model number of your computer?
2) Please also tell us whether you are running a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows. You can find out in Windows by going here: Start > Control Panel > System & Maintenance > System. Then look under System > System Type. It will then display 32bit Operating System or 64bit Operating System. Include that info with the info we ask for below.
3) To create a dxdiag log, go to Start, click on Run, then type in dxdiag and press Enter. Click on Save All Information as a text file (on your Desktop as an example.
If you are using Vista or 7, go to the Start Menu, click on the Search menu and type dxdiag.exe.
4) Attach the dxdiag.txt that you save to your reply to us.
If you have a 64bit system, please click on the 64bit Dxdiag/DirectX button to save the correct log file.
This is important so that we can do our best to help you.0 -
I can say that I submitted a ticket and I'm not impressed, they did not address my whole problem and the solutions that they suggested did not help at all. Also, the solutions barely seemed to relate to the issues I reported in my ticket, as if their suggestions are automated, not by a real person who actually read over my ticket and thought about it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have a similar problem and I agree. The support so far hasn't helped at all. All they told me to do is allow the game to update without anti-virus programs running, AFTER I ALREADY HAVE IT. Its not a problem of the game not starting, its cutting of in mid-game with no prompt or reason. This has nothing to do with firewalls, anti-virus, or changing the proxy settings on internet explorer (?).0 -

Yes this is exactly what they told me to do! Then after I told them it didn't help at all, they suggested restarting my computer. Seriously, I've had this problem for 4 months, do they think I haven't restarted my computer since then?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
