Baby pets benefits

Baby pets. Everybody gets them. But unlike the Venomancer's henchmen, these are of no value besides looks and fashion..

I do think that only the venomancer should have fighting pets, but I also think the pets given to all other classes should have a bonus. I was thinking of a stat bonus. like extra Pdef or Mdef or attack or maybe some attributes goin' on.

The only bad thing I see about this idea is that the cost to be a baby pet would be a bit more expensive, but it will still be more worth the trouble.

    It's just like you said, it's got no value aside from looks. Which explains why fashion items have no extra stats. If you want to look like you're rich, get an all class pet.

    I think if you're giving all class pets the ability to give players extra stats, you'd need to do the same to the venomancer ones. And in my opinion, why bother? You have equipment and you've got refining, and you've got crafting, and you've got enchanting, and you've got buffs, and you've got stats that you can tailor to whatever you feel you need.

    Adding an extra item to help those rich/lucky enough to afford them should possibly only be say..A prize from a GM from an event.

    Get an Elysium Fowl. It's big enough to stop people from clicking you. That's a pretty useful function ;o

    Ooh, then it's every venomancer's duty to provide their entire guild/faction with Elysium Fowl baby pets! I can see territory war now. I can see the synchronicity as eighty people summon Elysium Fowls, and the opposing side, unable to click on the characters who have formed a phalanx of Elysium Fowls, screams "Fowl Play!!" and flees in face of the overwhelming tide of "Fowlness!"

    i thought about bringing this topic alive again ^^ after 3 years XD. ok sooo what if these baby pets gave small stat bonus, like +.2 speed bonus, or something like that. a stat bonus that gives you a major edge in a battle, but an ability that gives the pets more use. and to respond to the comment about having everyone in a territory war using them answer to that is simple, baby pets not allowed in territory wars
