Hello My Barbarian is level 102 and I have a spare 2.4B coins to buy gear with him, but I'm leaning away from rank 9 because I think I might wanna share the gear with making a Heavy Armored Sin as well. Any advice on what I should purchase to put on my barb? ATM I'm vit built, but I'd also consider interval build as well. Thanks!

    With that amount of coin I'd say **** vit build unless you are a cata barb. Go clawbarian and refine up your gear and you can be a much more useful and versatile tank. Also... HA sins kind of suck. Their damage is nerfed and even though they have better survivability in melee 1v1 they become 1 shot fodder for casters. They lose the ability to surprise anything and take it out in 1-3 hits, even casters.

    Couple routes I'd consider for equiping both classes. LA/HA "BM" build. Use two pieces LA like your boots and wrists that you can transfer across. Still go rank 9, but for ring, pants and axe. Go Lunar instead of TT Nirvana and try for the two piece bonus for better attack levels. Something like this:

    Almost twice the mdef as Rawrgh's build, more hp, and just slightly less pdef, 2 attack levels less and 20 defense levels but thats because of rank 9 bonuses which you said you don't want to do.

    Also, the wrists, boots, neck, and belt all would transfer to your sin nicely, as well as the lunar helm with a bit extra strength. Would just need rank plate, daggers, and pants to have an awesome sin.

    I think 2.4B is more than antiquate to Bribe a GM into giving you the necklace =P the rest is farmable...

    Mind you, i dont think It'd work well for your sin.

    **** the barb... well geared rank 9 +12 sin can tank/solo EVERYTHING. It drop tt bosses hp in secound, u cant do that with claws.

    with DoTs u gonna be 79 attack lvl, hp lowered to 11.5k buffed

    just see the dmg 22308-26454 x4 attacks per secound with 38% crit and 60+ atk lvl. Very less ppl respect the top tanks.. every1 respect the top dds.

    go walk up to a world boss with that build and no buffs - see how long you stay alive. its not really soloing if you have to rely on full buffs to do itb:chuckle while its true the sin has much higher attack output than a barb - its pdef is half what my barb has, and the mdef isnt any higher than my own. if stunned + debuffed, the very next hit can well be death. Any rate, if you're gonna go for rank 9 weapon / ring - might as well go full rank 9 IMO - you don't even need 5.0 on that kind of sin.

    is more what I would be looking at. sure it doesn't have quite as much damage output as the previous one, but its got lots better defenses (and admittedly still insane attack power) with all the chi skills an assassin has, its not very difficult for one to still be pretty much permasparked even though they aren't 4.0/5.0

    Wasn't so much a troll. My point was I think most people are over estimating how far 2.4 bil will go. The weapon I posted will run you around 500m to make (230 raps + initial deicides. And more than likely chienkuns or if you need to socket it but not counting that) but the recast to get blood vengeance and -int is something like 1/48. So assume 48 recasts at 7 raps each (lets say 2 mil a rap for easy math) = 672 mil. So you are 1.172 bil in before refining and sharding just for your weapon. Lets say 100 mil to + 10 it? Then the cost for +11 and +12 are a couple hundred mil each. See me getting close to 2 bil? Then the cost for 2 x Drakeflames are 6 garnets each = 12 garnets. On Sanctuary they run 25 mil each so there is 300 mil. So basically I'm was guessing my ideal weapon would cost between 2 and 2.4bil alone.

    As for the sin build, that really should be in the Sin forums but I get a lawl out of watching barbs build sins so here's my endgame idea.

    More pdef, less mdef, same defense levels, and less hp. Baal's sins damage kicks my damages butt because of the attack levels, but only while sparked and Baal's couldn't remain sparked. The main difference is mine is 4.0 and perma sparked. A sin needs 2.86 to be perma sparked, I believe. Baal pointed out the killability of Tosh's sin if stunned (mine has 29 def levels to prevent it), but if Baal's is stunned then it'll be a long time before he gets back to sparking and getting paint heals. Also, demon Sin have 2 skills to help them avoid status effects, as well as regular sparks to purify.

    +buffs comes from guild base, so basically u dont rely on other classes to buff you.

    first - that sin has more hp than the build you made
    second - he is fully buffed
    third - his charm was getting owned
    fourth - on top of all that he still had to use crab meats, apo, and genie

    I honestly believe a 5.0 barb would be able to do it a lot safer and not come nearly as close to dying as that sin did.

    I'd use this build with Solid Shield on my genie, along with frenzy for farming with some of my higher interval friends, and hopefully being able to solo Harpy Wraith with Bloodpaint. I modified some of your suggestions to make this build, feel free to change it for the better and repost. Remember I am sage though.

    I'd use this build on my Sage Barbarian to tank casters and assassins in PvP. Later on I will figure out the damage to see If I should shard vit stones, or Jade of Steady Defense or Tigers, based on the damage and defenses that players on my server have. I'm going to build their classes on a calculator to see, but I'm pretty sure I want to go with vitality for the Spike Armageddon Damage in mass PvP Situations and Rebirth/FC/Fbs/TT Mobs/BH Mobs/20X 30 in the 69 XD

    You're nitpicking the feat over things like the charm getting owned ?

    I mean what... did you expect him to solo Harpy without a single charm tick ? b:shocked

    The guy has insanely expensive gear no doubt but that was still the greatest solo feat I've ever seen done in PWI.

    All the crab meat, genie skills and apoth etc... wouldn't have kept that sin alive if not for the blood paint healing coming from the ultra high dps he would have been dealing during that battle. And since the most well geared claw barb can't even begin to approach that level of damage per sec, good luck trying to survive long enough with your own BP buff plus crab meat etc...

    That's a fine build except those rings are basically unfarmable (somewhat akin to farming the Forest Helm thats projection farming time is 3.5 months farming 8 hours a day...). Lionheart Nirvana also sucks. JoSD >> Vit stones unless you are an arma fiend and in that case feel free to socket turqoise gems for more mana than hp. Its a very decent build I'd just tweek it a bit.

    I find it silly how so many people are doing full +12 on these builds ideas... 2.4bil is a lot, but full +12 its pushing it hardcore.

    Even in the sale one +11 orb is about 180ish gold, and one +12 orb is about 300ish gold, with current gold prices being over 900k he will have a hell of a hard time going full +12.


    As a sage barb u can go 5aps, but you need every piece of interval gear available, and a great genie with windshield Lv.1.

    Demon is just easier cos of the 3.33 > 5aps d.spark upscale.

    why spend the extra 150m on 50 att for g12 shards? -_- its wasteful and nitpicking.

    and 4 sock nirvana gear is rare 10% chance, unless u got a lot of soc stones (32k x2 for 2nd cast per piece) or a hell of a lot of chienkuns.
