Which Class/Wepons/Spells do I choose?

Okay, I'm brand-spanking new, I've just downloaded Perfect World and it's taking an eternity to install. I was just wondering if there was class I should be, and if there's any perks or disadvantages to any particular thing.

Also, when I do get on, does anyone recommend any spells, weapons, armor, etc?

    what class to play is entirely a matter of taste. they all cater to different play styles, so it comes down to what you prefer to do in game, how you like to have fun.
