Thunderdeath Edges or Calamity Axes for 8x PvE/PvP?

Hey,

I'm approaching level 80 on my BM and I'm wondering which Axes I should use, for both PvP and PvE. I don't plan on PvP'ing much on my BM (I don't like how they have to PvP), but I will participate in the occasional duel, with a little bit of PK Mode every so often.

Now, I have a set of Thunderdeath Edges in my Bank, and my current Calamities still with me. I am wondering, which would be the better option?

Thunderdeath Edges +0
1x Flawless Garnet,
*Will +3 it when my decision is made*

Calamity Axes of Blood +1
2x Flawless Garnet
*May throw an extra refine or two onto it*

Oh, another thing,

I also have the TT80 Gold Bracers, 3sockets sharded with 3 Flawless Citrines, +3, but I'm not sure if I should actually use them. -0.05 Int sure looks pretty, but I'm thinking if it's really worth it for 10 levels and a few million coins if I sell them? I do have a pair of the TT90 Gold Bracers on my Bank which I will definitely keep.

    Sac strike is axes' best friend.

    And sell your 80 bracers, 80-90 goes quick with FC and you can't get much aps pre Demon spark anyway.
    Or you can invest in a pair of LA DQ bracers. They are not cheap but give -0.1 interval, has lvl 60 req, and doesn't bind so you can resell later.

    Hehe, My Money is a bit tied up atm (Having Your Wiz Main turned into a catshop slave FTW), I'd consider the Blood Moon's if only I actually had that money to work with.

    Thanks for the suggestion, I think I'll find a price for the Bracer's later and try sell them and the Axes on. *Hugs 90 Bracer's and GVs*

    +7 calamities could last to level 100 if you wanted. Never get TT axes besides GX and Star Axe. All of them suck nut.

    Calamities last long because in PvE, smart BMs use fists 90% of the time. Axes are only used in PvE for aoe/HF. For PvP, it really is only used for Drake Bash and HF.
    AP classes are a real butt pounding...

    This,calamities will last you to at least 90,and on the small chance you never use fist and main dmg comes from your axes,the sac strike alone out damages any other axe till 90+,it does activate fairly often.
    How to be pro at all recent COD games,lay claymore behind you at exit to room,lie down and shoot anyone coming in front door,rinse and repeat.
    Host advantage get you killed?Never fear,with a 50% chance of spawning in behind your killer revenge will surely be yours.
    Can't aim for ****?Never fear.aim assist and cursor magnetism!
    Best of all,after a few kills the game will play itself and bump your k/d to new highs with its killstreaks system!

    Calamities will still out DD Thunderdeaths. You can get them earlier and use them longer, allowing you to invest more in refines. Btw, they both refine the same.

    The only reason I would suggest possibly using Thunderdeaths is if you are DDing and not tanking and don't want to worry the cleric about your hp dropping from sacrificial strike (confuses some clerics, thinking you have aggro). Beware, some clerics get spazzy about sac strike axes so be prepared to heal yourself. Its also nice to give them a heads-up.

    For pvp Calams win hands down because sacrificial strike can proc on crits giving you huge hits.

    Okay, thanks for all the responses, I think I'll definitely sell my Thunderdeath's and probably throw a few more refines onto my Calamities.

    As for which weapon I use Most, I use Axes mostly through the dungeons. (TT + BH), because I realize I am a **** DD at level 77, and my job is to Stun, Slow and Amp the monsters, for which I mainly equip my Axes until we get to a boss (At Which Point I switch to my Dark Flash for DD and Cancel Channelling, when I get Chi it goes to HF).

    Thanks again for the advice, I remember making a pair on Thunderdeath Edges on my Wiz a while back (I have no idea why; I just remember I had 3 quarters of the mats so..) and managed to sell them for 4mil I think. That should easily get me a +4 Refine on the Calamities if I manage to sell at 4mil again :P
