How do my Eldergoth Range Attack???

Hi, I just got a Marksman because I've read he has a ranged attack. I've been using it but he keeps doing meele attacks.

What can I do to make him attack at range? or did I got the wrong Eldergoth?

    Simple: Unclick all of your pets skills.

    The eldergoth and other ranged pets will default to their range attacks if none of their skills are used. If you click on any of the skills, it will require them to return to melee range. Range dps is very slow, but still usefull for pulling/fighting some bosses.

    Right click whatever pet skill is yellow boxed and that should turn it off.

    The one that is yellow boxed (idk how to describe it) will be your pets auto attack so whenever the skill is cooled down it'll automatically use it again without you having to manually click/activate it.

    By default your pets first skill is usually the one "clicked" when you summon your pet. AS previously said, look for the yellow box around the skill to disappear when you right click on it :)
