Remember how you paid so much coin just to 2 socket your weapon, or just simply crafting a weapon over and over while reselling the failed weapons just for that 2 socket? The goal was to have a ring of light around your weapon to make it follow you whenever you moved.
Before the last 1 or 2 patches, while on mounts, you should have noticed a ring of light emitting from your weapon while on your mount if you have a 2 socket G7+ weapon with G7+ shards. Now, the light is gone.

Who thinks that the Devs should readd the code to have weapon rings of light to follow you again whenever you are on your mount? b:cry

    tbh I never noticed a ring of light following me while mounted b:surrender
    would help if you had screenies from before and after, since I dunno what to vote now x.x

    When you have a 2 socketed weapon, and shard it with lv....7 or higher gems, I think, you get a rings around your hand(s).


    I also miss my rings, especially since I about to shard Garnet Gems in my new weapon. b:angry


    And being on a mount with rings around your hands, adds +1000 coolness points to yourself. b:victory

    has anyone else noticed that the glow of red on the hand of an archer who has used FireArrow is now missing? i started a new archer recently, and saw this. it used to be that even when carrying a crossbow, the red glow remained on the other hand. so its not the the aura from the stones thats missing, but glows. wonder what would happen if a wizzie were to use the water buff on me...used to be i would glow red and white at the same time!

    I'm not sure on that one since I don't play archer, but I am guessing tons of stuff bugged at the same timeb:chuckle

    Frostblade, Blazing Arrow and weapon shard glow used to show up no matter what your character was doing. Now they don't? lol

    Yeah, just noticed it while I was racing this week... I always added my 2 socket sword to give it a green stream of light while on the go on my mount, now there is nothingb:cry

    Aha, those rings :) never noticed that it didn't show up while mounting seeing I only just have that ring around my veno's hand for a week or so b:chuckle
    But yeh it would be cool to see it while mounted :3

    venos and barbs when they turned into animals used to have a glow from frostblade underneath them, its gone now

    firstly, i never noticed the glowy circle while on a mount - because i rarely use it tbh. it still follows me while im flying though. overall, not a major thing for me.

    blazing arrow still shows on slingshots, bows, and fists. frostblade does not show on slingshot and I assume it does not show on bow or xbow either - but it does show on fists

    IKR. I used to get a wizard to frost blade my archer while he had blazing arrow on - then i would do his "dance" move and it reminded me of a DBZ moveb:chuckle

    I miss the way the rings used to work as well, but it's nothing to get worked up over really. That's my opinion.

    Frostblaze and Blazing now only show up if you have a weapon in that hand. For instance, when I use a bow or sling, I see Blazing but not Frostblaze. When I use a xbow, I see the reverse. Only when I use my (regular) Gorenox do I see both.

    That, I wish would be fixed. I really miss running around with a fire and water hand like I was the friggin' police. Put it back, devs. >:[

    I have ring of light with my weapon but on mount your weapon is not in hand. so the ring will not show.
