The old style eyes are so dull in comparison, and the hair is so... untextured. It kinda makes me sad to think that you could never make one of the old style characters as pretty as an earthguard. >.< Don't get me wrong, I still love my main.

I did make a suggestion in the suggestion forum to possibly help, but I know the suggestion forum doesn't get a lot of traffic. The idea is very simple and I hope to get some support for it, so if you'd like to see a reasonable and small change that would help matters --> http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1019671

    I agree, and will support this suggestion. It's like with each new expansion, they have a love-in with the new character models, and completely forget about the rest (not just on the customisation either :/ )

    The lack of options (such as hair texture, lipstick colour, eye shadows) for earthguards bothers me much more. We just got more eye-candy patterns (and here I dont mean the ugly monkey presets).

    She isn't complaining because of the improvements... b:chuckle she is simply wishing the former classes could be "refreshed." I agree ^.^ it would be nice if they cleared up our dusty looking pixels ^.^

    The lower quality old classes, limited customization for new. I really do hope PW has some plans in the future to make the graphics in their overall game cohesive.

    i dont really mind the facial qualities of the old-type characters, but they could at least add new hairstyles that are similar to other classes, or allow the old classes to use new classes hairstyles (without it being against the rules, i mean).

    The only things that concern me are the hairstyles and eye textures of older classes (including Tideborns). The rest is fine, in my opinion. Although getting updated skin textures would be nice too since the newer classes' skins look much smoother than the older classes.

    As to the topic itself - I voted, but the sad truth is if you want to see any improvements made, you probably shouldn't waste time looking to PWE or PW-CN devs. Odds are, anything to come from that area will end up in the boutique for sale, not a freebie overhaul. It's really a shame that modding client files is an offense - personal graphical improvements like this are exactly the kind of thing you could build a community behind, if PWE were ever inclined to do so. But I guess it would reflect badly on Beijing if players started outclassing the developers...

    i still support this thread haha, i would freaking love an adorable veno with mystic eye textures and tb hair....of course you can do this now lmfao but i just wish it wasn't against the rules....): like really? HOW HARD would it be to put those in the character customization's for other classes? i mean it's pretty easy to edit the .ini files as it is, why not make it legal i'm sure this would generate more money for PWI by all the make over scrolls bought, lmao!

    PW needs a Graphic refresh...on everything.
    But as someone mentioned,the new classes lack customization which is freaking bad,what the hell,they should improve the customization not nerfing it.

    i dissagree, i preffer my old style characters to the the new style anyday. The old style are much more unique and customisable compared to the dull and boring new style where everyone looks the same no matter how hard you try to customise it.

    Then you wouldn't have to have it. My suggestion was simply to make it an OPTION for the people that do want a few new things. Actually, it wouldn't effect your choices in makeup or anything at all since I'm not suggesting replacing the skin texture with the newer one. The new eyes would be an OPTION not a replacement for the old ones, and let's face it, the hair is horribly flat and could use a new texture but the hair style itself wouldn't change. So no, your character wouldn't get a case of the "uglies" from my proposed upgrade. Which is actually irrefutably a good idea.

    Do you still disagree?

    Geeze people, read first please? I'm tired of getting QQ's about less customization options when this upgrade wouldn't effect that at all.
