There is much debate to this, but it all boils down to your playing style, I have 68 on my seeker and i have followed that build and its worked out great. I keep maxing my skills everychance i get and almost have blade mastery maxed which helps me ALOT. I like knowing i can run in to a group of phy mobs and if needed keep myself alive for awhile with just charms and pots and still manage to keep aggro, But over all its up to your playing style.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

pay attention to your health bar while you're tanking. if it drops scarily low too very often, even if you're getting good heals, then you don't have enough HP and should add vit.
pay attention to aggro when you're tanking. if you lose it too much or too easily, you don't have enough STR to be doing sufficient damage and should add more of that.
squad with other seekers when grinding on the open map, see how much damage they do, how much damage they take, and how quickly they kill. ask them about their builds. this was how i found out about a seeker the same level as mine, who was killing the same mobs as i but more slowly and taking MUCH more damage; turned out their vit was about twice mine (for not that much more HP in the end) and their damage was much lower, because i'd invested the difference in str and dex instead. i felt much better about my own build after that.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Heaven's Tear alts: KenLubin, Sou_Hon, JudyCaraco --- level 5x chars.0 -
Dont have experience with seekers in BH100s/TWs so cant comment on that yet but as far as FCC and any BHs below 100 are concerned, vit didnt really matter (at least to me cause mines 5vit) As long as i payed full attention to my health and status and didnt do dumb ****, i didnt die >.> so in terms of your CAP its pretty much just preference really. so why not tell me how? b:thanks0 -
Personally I capped my vit at 60 and since then have been doing 3 STR 2 DEX per level. That gives me a bit over 3.2k HP at my current level without sharding any of my gear. I'm about to do that - got a 4 slot greaves and a 3 slot chest piece to work on so I should have pretty solid HP for my level. Best tip is to max adrenal numbness as early as possible cause that helps enormously0

A well rounded Bm who uses more than one weapon, at a time would cap their vit around 30, so my assumption would be some where around there. I personally haven't statted any vit. But it's also because I run around with a mystic partner b:surrender0

It all depends on your playing style. I have a lvl 67 seeker and I tend to like taking a decent amount of damage and still dealing pretty good damage. My vit is capped at the high end around 80 or so though i might redistribute it down to around 60 and pour the extra into strength since our attacks are based off such. So Str, Str, Str, and having good dex doesnt hurt just remember our attacks are mostly physical based0

Like all others have said before me, it depends on your playing style. I have played a bm and barb prior to this, and I have to say I regret ever statting vit onto my bm. Since I have enough experience questing and doing instances through 80+ on multiple chars, my personal thoughts on adding vit is to only add it if your class is the one taking aggro and tanking or if you will pvp. Picking up or creating apothecary like life powders before lvl 75 (when you can use crab meats) will be enough to keep you alive for your quests.
My seeker is now lvl 87 using the 3str/2dex per lvl build (standard bm build), and I love my damage output and can do pulls easily. I have quested from lvl 1 to his current level, so I understand that "squishiness" phase that happens early on. Ever since lvl 75, crab meats were more than enough to cover for that squishiness due to the lack of vit points. To compensate for lack of vit, my later gear will be refined and sharded, which is the advantage of wearing HA in the first place. It's all a matter of your ability to predict and manage how much damage you take vs. your recovery against that damage.
My general opinion on vit (for PvE as im not a PvP player), with my prior experience, is that the only class that should even invest points in it is a barb. The barb is the only class that is purposely meant to get his hp bar hit, while other classes will temporarily get hit a few times. I think the other classes should invest in points that enhance their primary purpose, since the lack of vit can be compensated by gear later. Sins and archers can live by dex and min str reqs. Magic classes can live by mag and min str reqs. Bm and seeker can live by min reqs and added damage in str or crit chance via dex.
Some will agree with my above philosophy and some will not. I was just shedding more light on the "it depends on your play style" response given by the previous posters. If you are confident enough to manage your hp via powders/genie/hp pots/etc, skip vit or add a small bit. If not, calculate the hp per vit you want to add to make YOU feel confident enough to survive. This is why it's not so easy to give a specific formula. Only the players can determine their own limits.
Hope this helps b:thanks0 -

Mm This is a valid point and one I would normally agree with but I just can not stand being squishy...crab meat or not. XD I'm just weird I guess. b:laugh
Also, I statted my BM with high vit for surviveability for the lower levels before I restat and switch to fist/axe very soon. =D0 -
So far i've been using the 3 str/2 dex build adding vit in every so often as I feel nessicary ( I have 25 vit at level 46) And i'm doing pretty damn good.. But as everyone else says its up to play style. Hehe though about 20% crit at level 105 looks kinda nice.0

I capped my Vit at 50, so I've just been doing 3 str/2 dex every lvl. Seems to work out great. I can't hold aggro from higher lvls (of course), but I have stolen aggro several times with others my lvl.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I got 75 base vit, 7.5k hp with gears and unbuffed, most of our hard hitter skills rely more on weapon damage than anything so worrying about low strength is pointless(please correct me if I am wrong) I have no problems keeping agro with vortex on bosses or pulls in frost so long as i get a head start on bosses anyways, a few crits, zerk crits on vortex for 30-60k+ its hard for anybody aside from the mega geared aps classes to take agro away from that, but then again you wouldnt be tanking any bosses with people like that in your group anyways....speaking as far as people of my own lvl...obviously0
