Is there anywhere to get the female Seeker loading screen?

I've been trying to take a screen shot of it as it comes up, but since loading screens are randomized, it hasn't shown up yet, at least not as long as I've been trying to get it deliberately.

Is there any other way to get the file? Or has there been a release of a wallpaper or something with the same image? It's basically the image that's used on the right-hand side of the launcher/patcher. I really would like a copy to use for a wallpaper for myself.

If anyone knows of a way to get hold of it, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks,
Kyouchou

I'm sure you could probably find this in the client files somewhere.

I think this is the image you are looking for. It's just a quick screenshot.

I'm busy extracting the pck files now and will make a package if I find them there.

Edit: while getting the screenie and posting I got ninja'ed. my screenshot is from the current client though and a 1680x1050 resolution.

Yeah I was hoping to extract it from raw data files, but I couldn't find any sort of a tool that would allow me to do that... Could you tell me what you use to do that sort of extraction please?

And to ACLucius, yes, that is precisely what I wanted. Thanks so much :)

You could try using XPAX. I'm not sure if it does work for certain on PW, but it works on the files of another game I play (the game for the link you are about to see). Go here and you'll find a link to download it as well as a useful guide on file extraction. I'm not a big modder, so I don't normally deal with programs of the such, but I do find mods for that game very enjoyable.

Here's the file from the installation. It's small, but if you stretched it a bit in Photoshop it shouldn't distort too much.

I use Pwpack, I think it's pretty much specifically for the pck files that PWE uses. I use Ravioli Game Tools for other games, but it is unable to work on the files for PWI. At least when I tried it on the SFK.pck (after pwpack quit working on it with the Genesis expansion) it did not work.

Also, I did extract the base loading screens. They are in a variety of sizes.

    Here's the zip file.

Well, as much as I like the images linked to already by ACLucius and Mor_Toran, and greatly appreciate them, I dislike the natural 1.25:1 aspect ratio that the game apparently uses (I prefer my 1680x1050 or larger 16:10 aspect ratio backgrounds). So I extracted the character foreground from the rest of it... *just* the character... no background, no border, no loading bar, no loading messages. In order to manage this, I had to crop out a little bit at the bottom (only way to get rid of the loading bar). I then sized the image to 1050 pixels tall and blended the edges a little so that the image can be used to make other backgrounds and saved it as a multiple-layer Photoshop *.psd image file.

I suck at making backgrounds (I'm not a digital painter... most of my Photoshop skills revolve around manipulation, recoloring, and texture modification), but if anyone is really great at making digitally painted backgrounds, then you could make full wallpapers using the extracted character as a foreground. I did a little bit of preliminary testing using some pics downloaded from DeviantArt (which I don't have permission or license for, which is why I'm not posting those full wallpapers), and the foreground character seems to blend really well (though the top of her head has a little bit of transparency issue that shows up if the background behind her isn't really dark... I could fix that by cropping it a little more and resizing it back up to 1050 again, but I'm too lazy at the moment).

The Photoshop file consists of two layers... The bottom layer is just a simple cloud layer in black and white to show how well the edges of the character blend, and it can be discarded. The top layer is the important one, the layer with the character herself.

You can download the Photoshop file (compressed into a *.zip archive) from here. It's not perfect, but it works reasonably well for now.

    Enjoy :)

@ACLucius: Thanks for that last link, I'll check it out.

I always throught that was a Sin. You know, she's holding a dagger...

But is an Earthworm, not a fish...

And holding a sword in the other hand, not another dagger.

    So I'm confused.

If you download that zip file:
