I did search if there are already threads like this one but I couldn't find any.

My question is how many Chienkun Stones will I need to transfer the refinement of a +8 item to another via the PW Boutique Manager. b:surrender

So... it will be cheaper just to refine to +8 again instead of transferring the refine lvl?

    +4 = 28
    +5 = 60
    +6 = 80
    +7 = 100
    +8 = 150
    +9 = 250
    +10 = 400
    +11 = 650
    +12 = 1000

but when i look at the #s and compare it to the nirvana refine transfers, it seems a lot lower... odd.. =O

Imo these stones are too overpriced, wait for gold to go down, buy a lot, wait for chienkung sales, they'll be half off. Also, if you're a risk taker & is very lucky, getting something to +8 is very doable & much cheaper than transferring with these orbs.

Btw, the refinement transfer for non-Nirvana items isn't worth it.

For one, it costs a lot more than with Nirvanas and your refinement is lowered by 1 when doing it.

And the costs are mostly more expensive than refining the new item from scratch.

Also, you can see the required amount of Chienkuns by going to the NPC and putting the items in the slots, it'll then give you the number of Chienkuns required.

If you see b:cute be sure to take a second, calm look at anything I said.

I would've checked how many chienkun stones I need if I had the item. I just saw a cheap crappy +8 item and thought maybe it would be cheaper if I transfer ref than try to get it to +8. But now I see it's not worth it. Thank you all for your replies! b:thanks
