FCC Seekers

ok level 70 Seeker here, what lvl should i start FCC and will i get groups fast? i mean at level 75 i can pretty much channel vortex for a long *** time, so whats the deal i mean the exp room i set up my vortex, with BP i will never die right? so obviously Seekers are a good choice for FCC please post comments, and what you think i should do, thanks :)

    There are ALOT a seeker -could- do in FCs...

    However as of now people are still stuck in the same traditional makeup of how they were ran prior...


    You basically show up and pew-pew some AoEs on pulls...

    At bosses use soulsver/gemini stance for the debuffss... and debuff according to what class is in your squad..

    Then people see how awesome Seekers are! Or at least how awesome you are b:pleased Just don't fail and make us look bad...

    ^^ This. I basically try to put on the seeker highlight reel everytime I'm in FC, just so plp will start to invite them more. I still have trouble convincing squads they don't need a BM or BARB.

    Yesterday when I took my seeker to FC, my squad convinced me that I could do pulls and that we didnt need a barb lol. Successful run! (I had prior pull experience on my barb anyways)

    With our extreme defence levels Barbs really are not needed as much in FCC, for Wbosses, and high end instances yeah sure, but not for FCC

    Really need someone to make a fraps of a pro -low end- FC run done by a seeker...

    I still see people have doubt of the seeker in this instance...

    after you pull you pretty much have to solo vortex for a short time so those seekers who are starting fcc,

    - make sure your ready to stay alive for a while when all those mobs pummel you before the partys comes along (its only 1-2sec but when your pulling, even that seems like a long *** time)
    - prolly good to pop a defense reduction apothecary if your doing a big pull. 30+ mobs on you WILL sometimes (rare times) make it hard to insta-vortex

    only prob. i encountered on seeker was tanking the big bosses. lack of aggro skills and also we arent known to be THE dd of the squad so fist BMs and archers tended to ping pong aggro.

    A) Like I said, Seekers dominate Frost. There are however key attributes they are missing that make them a support class not the be all end all for frost.

    No barb buff. No agro skills outside 2.5 dps :-)
    No AOE stun.

    B) As far as large pulls, when I couldn't solo them, I would gather the whole big room, with bloodpaint, use a sutra orb, yataghan, and absolute domain if needed. This allowed me to solo it all. Even now I grab all dragons and ladies, vac pot and yataghan, no issues. Barbs can do that too, but they can't kill them!

    I was doing pulls and tanking @75 its actually funner and easier to just go for like 1 cleric 1 bm or sin rest seeker squad at least those are the ones i have the most luck with in terms of smoothness and fun factor...

    seekers are really good in FF

    but

    cooldowns are quite long
    channeling is quite long (buff helps but oh look cooldown lol)
    u can get interupted alot !! i mean plenty

    but who care seeker ftw =]

    Yeah im going barb build seeker till 100 then i will restat this way we don't need a barb and usually a seeker , mystic, cleric, bm rest sin squad makes FC go ALOT faster since seekers can actually out dps barbs and you save alot of time when you have to play barb for the squad ( only do that if you don't fail :P i have seen ALOT of seekers fail and i don't ever trust them when they say "im pulling" ).
