Hey all. I havent been on since early 2009, I was wonderin what new updates have been put in place. Busy waitin on the dwnload to finish....w/ a 5 hr wait....woot.

    new classes, new races, and everyone is lvl 100 with god-like gear. but somehow the common sense dropped xD

    Sweet. Hows the crafting system? ne improvements or still the same? As for the commen sense, it should be called "rare sense" now a days lol

    I quit around August 09, just came back in January this year, biggest change to me was that it is way easier to lvl now. Back when i quit, lvling was already sped up greatly with the new introduction of bhs but now it's even faster...

    Of course there's the other content that is expected like classes, instances etc

    I think u quit before the genies too? because i quit not long after they were introduced, so ya there's those

    There are a lot of new dailies,especially if you're in a faction with a Base(Yes they introduced Faction's base :O),BHs at 90+ not worth doing but eh,its a daily too.
    When you hit 100 you can also do daily Nirvana as well(An instance introduced with the Tideborn expansion),which is a boss-only instance(No mobs,just bosses),and its one of the most profitable way to do money at the moment.
    Also there's Old Heaven's Tear daily,your daily genie food.
    Dailies like Crazy Stone,World Quest,Public Quests aren't even worth bothering.

    Oh and there's a runecrafting skill now,which I don't known much about

    Genie food ? Can you explain that please ?

    I have a daily that gives me 4 tear of heaven but i have no idea what they good for.

    perfect stones. most folks just feed those to their genies.

    there's a level-90+ daily in OHT that gives you something (those tears of heaven? i dunno, i have no 90+ chars) with which you can manufacture some OHT armors. nobody much wants or uses those armors, so most folks just immediately decompose them... to 70-odd perfect stones, which are worth a decent bit of coin.

    Most of the changes in each of the expansions is listed on the Expansions wiki page, but that doesn't include other things that were added between expansions, like the Bounty Hunter daily quest or the Celestial Tiger Event or Jungle Ruins weekly events.

    Its(Relatively),simple.

    First,make sure you have the Tailor skill,even lv.1
    Do the Daily,get 4 Tears of Heaven(And 14k coins)
    Spent some of the 14 coins in the catshops near the forges there to buy 7 Golden Sculptures and 7 Luminostones,they're usually sold for 200 coin / 300 in Sanctuary Server.
    Go to the second Forge from left to right and manufacture any of the lv.90 Wristguards(Arcane/LA or HA).
    Go to any Tailor and Decompose those Bracers for 70 Perfect Chi stones.

    fffffiiiinnnallly, after a long 2 days, got it all dwnloaded WOOOOOT lol. Think its time to update this dinosaur of a computer i have b:cryb:surrender I was wondering, are the genies just there to give you stats buffs that you get or do they help attack creatures?

    They do various things:Attack,Heal,Short-Duration buffs.
    However they both require having the skill in the first place plus having the required Energy and Stamina.

    Keep in mind that each genie skill requires a certain amount of elemental affinity like Earth 4 Metal 3 and Water 5,to learn a Skill and that they can initially have only 4 skills.Depends on their Lucky Points they can have up to 8 Skills(Which is extremely unlikely),more realistic 5-6.

    Don't push yourself too much,Genies are useful but not essential.
    Eventually there are a lot of guides in this forum that you can read if you have an interest.

    @OHT mats: just do a delta run or a 3-x or grind OVS, just dont buy mats from catshop they are so easy to be found. Once you have 3 Hears of Heaven and 7 each of Golden Sculptures and Luminostone you can craft wristguard which imo are the most worth craft.

    I recommend crafting light wristguard cuz if they come out with -int, they can sell well, if they come out **** just decompose at tailor for 70perfect stones.


    @Genies: they came out during the age of sprit expansion (apr '09), they have many uses in pve and pvp aspect of game, but usually classes just use some specific skill and out of 50 possible skills the most used are like 20. Genies are no different each other, the only difference between genies are 2. Starting skill and stats.

    -Starting skills: all useless, just zeal (yellow genie) has a nice starting skill cuz it can lure mobs from distance.

    -Stats: Very important. Stats affect the effect of the skills. So the higher the stat is the better effect you have. Stats are STR,DEX,VIT,MAG

    usually just STR and DEX afftect the stats cuz magic only affect the energy regeneration (mana of genie), and VIT affect the total energy of genie (skill can be affected by VIT like True emptiness)

    All genies can learn all skills, no difference. You just need to have the right attributes. Genies gain 1 attribute every 5levels and you can distribute these affinity point in 5 element water,wood,metal,earth and fire

    Genies grow with you gaining 10% of the xp you gain (no leeching), but you can level them using your own SPIRIT and XP or with xp-cubes

    Every 10 levels genies get LUCKY POINTS, based to the ammount of LP your genies can learn a determined number of skills. All genie start with the possibility of learning 4 skills.

    I don't totally agree. My main BM is 97 and does daily each day in OHT. I don't put much in game and some pieces with -int are just plain costy. But I did succeed making myself some sleeves with all 5 resists, - 0.05, metal resist 345 or so, some evasion and 2 sockets. For a daily quest I think it's pretty awesome cost wise.

    Call it the poor people's -int (or -chan if u try arcane ones) but it is a way to get some..Sure it takes a couple of tries. But if I recall right (don't quote me but im pretty sure) u can have up to 3 "mods" on OHT gear. And since it procs 3 times to see what u get, u "could" if get very lucky have 3 times -0.05 interval on sleeves.

    I never saw that myself but did see a OHT necklace (or belt) that came out with -3% AND -6% channeling. ( -9% on one piece is pretty awesome...)
