Ok so I'm a new player to this wonderful wonderful MMO! I have pretty much just got good things to say about Perfect world but something irked me and I had trouble finding reasoning for this.
Ok so the first problem I have is my character is female. So that means I can't carry guys on my Mounts and I can't carry women either. It's only men that can carry people and they can only carry women.
Then I noticed you can't even talk about Homosexuality. In game if you say Homosexuality it filters as ****sexuality. So I'm lead to believe that "Homo" has been filtered from the game because people use it in a derogatory way? If you ask me that's just going too far, if someone really wants to call someone a Homo as if it's such a bad insult then they can just put Zero's instead of O's. Furthermore it gives the impression there's a wee bit of persecution against Homosexuals, if you're a homosexual yourself perhaps you might agree. - Additionally to this, I've worked on chat filters for other games and it really is no benefit to filter anything but the really bad words, Homo isn't a bad word it's just used in a bad way which is probably why it's filtered: Yet I can say to someone "You're an idiotic waste of space" and it has more effect + isn't filtered, but then I'm not stupid enough to use "Homo" as an insult. My point is, there's nothing inherently wrong with this word, why even filter it, I feel it's kind of insulting?
Marriage: I haven't bothered marrying another player and I probably won't seeing as I'm a girl character and I'd only marry another girl character but it's just not possible.... you can see where I'm going with this.
So Perfect world is Sexist,It doesn't like Same sex relationships either. What does this say about PW? What is your stance/view on this?

1.Perhaps performing a search in the forum might yield results and replies.
2.Not having this feature doesn't mean it's sexist.For example,if I can't make a black character in a game,does that mean the game is racist?(No offence to those people out there.Sorry if I offended you)

->China still has a mostly traditional view that homosexuality is not socially acceptable
->Games from there are influenced by the social habits
->Game spreads to other countries will still maintain it

I'd make a more in-depth comment, but others have already gone over it. It's not something I'm particularly fond of seeing as all my characters (save for my barb) are female, but it's something I've simply learned to deal with.0 -

PWI is developed in China. China's culture where homosexuality is to them like for example pedophilia is to western countries. It's illegal, looked down upon and banned.
PWI itself can't change anything, everything comes from PWI. Therefore same sex marriages are not and will not ever be implemented on PWI.
As for why "Homo" is censored, deal with it. It's an insult and many see it as an insult. You could always say that you are "***" instead of "homosexual" that isn't censored anyway. "Homo" is just way too controversial. Same thing with the "N" word. Some "colored" people will be incredibly offended by that word, while others couldn't care less. Having the word censored doesn't hurt you in any way, while it could cause more harm having it not filtered.
Anyway, this topic is going to be locked in no time since this is if I recall correctly only like the 2394893483489383th topic about this subject made since PWI came out.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I feel sorry for the guy who told me to go hang myself, in my experience it's only lonely losers who tell others to go die. Poor him.
