How to feed mount?

Hello. How do I feed my mount? Have tome, food and water but not sure where to drag those items. Tried equipping tome, dragging to icon. Any suggestions? Thank you

    Well you dont have to put the water in a box. if its in ur inventory just press click it and it should feed ur pet and ur pets icon should go normal and not be green saying its hungry. b:pleased

    Thank you. Do you know what box to put the tome in? I put it in the box that lit up but pet stayed hungry. I right clicked and I believe it went to correct box-maybe just takes a while

    if you have a tome, the pet will never get any hungriER. you'll still need to feed it initially, especially to get the loyalty up at first.

    to equip anything, including a tome: double-click it from your inventory. to use pet food: same method. or, hotkey anything and just single-click it from your hotkey bars.
