Whats the use of upgrading you Pet summon skills???

im not sure why i shud upgrade my devil chihyu skill
if i do upgrade it, what happens? I know from a summon guide that the summon skills will upgrade, but idc about that a lot. does it also increase his attack/defending abilities??
so that: if im fighting a monster my devil chihyu does +50 damage more than he did on previous skill level. that + 50 was just an example of damage. but well im going to upgrade it if it increases his attack/def. but not sure it does so thats why im askin :P

    It increases the summon's stats, and the % of stats they get from your gear--so yes, leveling summons will increase their attack/def.

    And you should care about the upgraded skills. Salvation would be useless at higher levels if you left her at level 1, because the shields wouldn't be enough to cover hardly any damage. Devil's second skill has a stun that goes up to 5 seconds at level 10, and is much less at level 1.

    ^ not only that but the energy leech skill will be more powerful for each summon skill you level

    I'm not sure about pet stats. However, leveling the pet summon skill increases the pet's HP and MP and it also levels the skills on the pet itself.
