Just to get this clear, not ALL of these will be rare pets. They are most commonly asked for and wanted. Most of these at top though are rare, i have proof there rare and PWI considers them rare, they will have an option in the Auction house for all the names listed that will be under "Rare pets". I edit my forum often. I'm just trying to help and post what i know so far, so please don't be rude in comments.





These are where to find rare pets, there level and spawn hours, plus event pets.

There is two zoologists, both placed in Archosaur. They are used to create baby pets, which you can use rares to do so. Talk to the Zoologist and They explain how to do it, It's not hard.

Mrs. Zoologist: 586, 620 (South District)
Zoologist Yin: 586, 649(Placed underwater, near the boatman)

Territories: Unknown at this moment. I will update after i have proven this area.
No image was found yet, If you have a picture post it, please. I have heard it's Identical to Huggy Hare.

Peachyard Firefox
Level: 99
Coordinates: (430 581)
Territories: Unknown at this moment. I will update after i have proven this area.
No Image. I do believe the Peachyard firefox is identical to the Ninetailed firefox.

Unfortunately, there is no exact spawn time for any rares, they spawn 12 hours from the last time they were tamed (example: If caught at 5:30pm they wouldn't spawn till 5:30am that next morning) Trying to get them takes luck. In my opinion taming is the easy part, camping is the hardest, people will try to PK you if you are higher than level 30, rares can make people get greedy and selfish, so they play unfairly so only they can get the prize. So warning you all trying to tame, go with a high leveled group for protection and watch out for red names and most of you should try getting a few resurrection scrolls if affordable so that you don't get sent back to town if PK'd or mobbed.

If you go to the mailbox and click slot Celestial Exchange. There will be many slots full of prizes. To get Divine Tiger Sage and Cursed Tiger demon you will need to purchase 20 celestial shards or 17 Celestial Insignia. There will be also plenty other gifts for you in there.

The Pillar and Cerberus pet you can get through DQpoints system. This is as far as i know, I'll update when i get more information involving the two.

The Baby Bubble Fish and Baby Lochmur are Marriage Quest rewards. again, this is as far as i know, I'll update when i get more information.

    The Cerberus pet was available via a promotion but is now available via the DQ points page, as is the Pillar pet egg.
    The Baby Bubble Fish and Baby Lochmur are available via Marriage Quest rewards.

    Nah, usually when i tamed my rares i was with my own group or went there, i was the only Venomancer there when the animals still spawned.

    The only times other Venomancers should come is if they know the spawn times or just guess and come. Having other players there cant really help the animals spawn, they spawn 12 hours from the last time tamed or when the server resets. It pretty much just takes luck.

    I don't know what time it is in your country/state, but the rares like Cuddly Pup and Shaodu Cub spawn usually after 5:00pm for me.

    ok........about that untamable panther......ive seen it in perfect world vendetta the private server ....it doesnt appear every 12h i killed it 3 times and it still appeared....wish it was tamable its so beautiful .....also i find it quite funny and annoying at the same time ...when i was in pwi i waited hours for the tabby to come and nothing ...but in vendetta i run almost everytime in rare pets :|

    Half of the pets you listed aren't "rare" at all, and you've got a few snow hare spawns wrong, not to mention the second cuddly pup spawn, lol.

    It would really help if someone made a thread like this one but with information taken from their own personal experience rather than ecatomb and pwdatabase, plus there's the wiki page which actually has useful info on it, lol.

    There used to be a link on these forums to my rare pet guide but I guess it's been taken down since then, shame =(.

    Oh also, the panther is a boss you need to kill for a quest, the tameable version has never spawned as it was not made to be so. Though I suggest you don't do the quest to kill it, as you'll lose a more important quest if you do so.

    Actually most of these pets are rare. If you go to the auction house, they will have a selection in there to find items, Basically all of these pets were under a option "rare pets" I checked the cuddly pup spawns, they both spawned, so i do believe there is two, just gotta be on time. I don't post my coordinates up unless they've been checked and if not i leave a note saying so. lol Those of these that arnt rare are also posted because people asked me about them. This isnt all rare pets. I listed the most looked for as well.

    As for the spotted felis, i no nothing about it except that its wanted and untameable, it was in the rare pet option in the auction house, i dont see why because its untameable, i have a feeling there changing that.

    Your title clearly states that this is about Rare pets, so why so This isnt all rare pets ?

    And yes, what qualifies as a rare pet would normally be a tameable monster that has a longer spawn time than a regular monster (and not as many spawns either). They've been listed like that in the AH for ages now, so has the spotted felis. And no one even mentioned "fixing them".

    And I was never a huge fan of cuddly spawns, all I know about that is that back in 2008 there used to be rumors about the second spawn not working at all, though I guess it got fixed in some random patch :P.

    Yes, i know what my title says xD I said Official Rare Pets and coordinates because it does have ALL the rare pets in here and as far as i know these are official. But what i mean by these are all not rare pets in the top message, meaning there is others in here listed to. Besides the main rares, people ask me about the others often. The only one i don't have proof of and don't even know if it's real is the dragon fish thing that i listed up ^^^ besides that i checked the spots and there was something there. lol Usually i take down if i find something wrong in here or i fix it up. Just trying to help.

I only said MAYBE there changing it cause they have it under a rare pet list in the auction, but its untamable so i don't know why it's there yet, still trying to learn a little more about it. So far all i really know about the spotted felis is that a lot of people want it lol

    I've got a lot of info taken from my own personal experience I'd wish to turn into an actual guide, you mentioned some "forums" are these your own forums? If you need a guide on there, I can write one for you.

    Will include all rare pet spawns, -chan tips, pots, genie skills, and exact spawn times (that also means seconds, as a few rares spawn 10 to 30 seconds later than others), all pets you need to make baby pets, skills all of these come with and what would be good to add as a skill to those :).

    Hahahaha that is funny. I've spent days watching sites and not been able to get the pet I would like. You have to be the most patient person on earth to get these pets. The info supplied was really helpful, so thanks to the initiator.

    Patience has nothing to do with it. Rate pets have respawn times of 12 or even 24 hours (not quite sure, doesn't really matter anyway).     My main is a veno and the first time I saw a snow hare I was on my ALT (a BM) and freaked "Omg, omg it's a snow hare! What do I do, what do I do?" I killed it :( Now that I know they're not so rare, I don't feel bad. Thank you for the info!

    b:sad Escuse me, but the day I became a veno I spotted a tabby and a frogline on the same day!!! And despite them escaping me since I didn't know how to tame, I found a shaodu (yes another rare pet) egg dropped randomly on the floor. Yesh on the same day b:surrender

    Two of my friends got me tabbys!!! PLUS one of them got herself all the rare pets she wanted plus a knowlin!!! b:thanks Not to mention I've seen more and more low lvl players like myself with rare pets!!!

    b:surrender Mayb its a lil harder for high lvl rare pets but not so much for others

    You forgot to mention the Ancient Derjan's hatchling (shortly-->the 101 dino that spawns every 24-48 hours in Morai)
