Am I On The Right Tracks For My Bm????

Hi I just wanted to know if my level 27 BM was on the right tracks to be a good Axe/Hammer BM. My current build is 3 str and 2 vit every level. I stopped putting points into Dex once it got to 26 because another forum said that once my Dex has reached 26 I dont need any more until level 36. Is that true?? b:question
Anyway my stats are:

Str-85
Dex-26
Vit-34
Mag-5

Is my build ok for a Axe-Bm?
Will I need to change my build soon?
I also get owned my assassins my level is that normal?
Will I own them once I get past level 30 and get Hand-axes of demonic roar?
When should I cap my Dex and Vit

    Here's a link that at the bottom of the first post is a gear requirement per level for equipment and maxing vitality. Basically to use axes only its 3 strength and .5 dex per level with 1.5 stats available, so if you'd like to know your requirements

    (your level - 1) x 3 strength + 5 = Strength required
    (your level - 1) x .5 dex + 5 = Dex Requirements (round up)

    Ofc, never add to magic.

    Your stats are fine for an axe bm, but ofc since you've found the forums you can read around on why going axe bm is a poor idea. The added vit you gain from going only one weapon path will not offset the loss of damage and efficiancy you swapped to gain that vit.

    And for most bm's at low levels you actually out perform sins because of your HA. They have not build up enough dexterity to make a huge damage and evasion difference.

    In short, read the threads, 3 str/2 dexterity is the tank build for BMs. You will have enough hp you just may require some skill to survive.

    I have actually read all stickies for Bm and searched in the questions I have asked on this post but I did not find anything so that's why I decided to post on the forums

    Do not be axe bm. Go Axe/fist or all wep bm.

    You will always get owned by assassins unless your a smart one.

    Do not waste your money on handaxes of demonic roar or any rare weapon under level 60.
    AP classes are a real butt pounding...

    ive been sword all the time, was fun but once i reached the 80s i was going nowhere, and no.. never had HF.. :/ now i have it almost maxed, and planning to respec to 3str 2dex
    so i guess the best way to go is pure BM hehe, and get vit from gear
