Money making as a wiz?

Heya, got a question overhere b:avoid

I'm a wizard, lv 47 at the time i write this and im interested into, how to make bigger amounts of money (w/o craft materials farming) since i cant solo FB 19 for drops or somethin.

    or make a farming alt (cleric,bm,sin) and farm Nirvana or Twilight Temple when you are 100

    Find flying mobs a couple of lvls higher than you are (e.g. Foxwings..) and keep killing them for exp. & money.

    Find mobs with a weakness against fire, round them up using a geniespell like second wind or yr own Distance Shrink spell. Use the The Dragon's Breath next

    Max yr manufacturingskills and sell whatever you can... You will have to spend a decent amount of time to pick whatever materials you can find, Find locations through here:

    I had to break my promise of utmost importance to solve this issue. Playing a sin. Yes. It still hurts to say it. b:cry

    That overpowered class can of course solo many things when they get all that -int gear and the ultimate skill: Bloodpaint (Which recovers your own HP based on damage dealt). So you'll be your own pro cleric.

    Or be in a faction/have friends that don't mind a wizard in squad. I've never been told by someone in my faction that they refused to take a wizard along, and I've actually made decent money from nirvanas.

    Other than that, tiger event (if you get decent rewards from it), delta runs, merchanting, dq grinding (boring, but easy and decent profit over time. And no squad needed) are the main ways to make money that i can think of.
    Also, CoA can be a good way to get some shards/skill pages/etc as a wizard. You won't make as much as -int build characters, but they have no interest in grabbing the physical damage immune bosses, so you can take one of those and kill it a few times to get warsoul tags.
    Luck in bh/opening packs/etc is the easiest way, but, requires luck. b:surrender

    Have you tried pressing the "O" Key?

    Seriously though its not possible to make money as a wizard per se. You can buy and sell items for profit, you can farm herbs and all that kind of thing, but that isnt really playing your wizard, its the same on any char.

    A good faction will probably be okay with taking you to nirvana too, but it really isn't your wizard doing the farming if you are in a good squad, you are more of a leech who your friendly guildies understand has a tough time of it otherwise.

    Rebirths can be acceptable coin (but not amazing) if tome frags are selling for enough (they hit 200k each on HT for a few weeks a while ago), but the BM's etc that you need to complete it with will have better ways to farm coin, and so you may not be able to get regular squads for it.

    If you want to realistically be able to farm good amounts in game, reroll a sin. Wizards are terrible money makers.

    I rerolled into a cleric n as i dont use rank gear my cleric has all the gear it needed so i jus had to power level it to 100 (which was amazingly easy being a cleric n hypers so cheap)

    So now my cleric is 101 n i farm tt regularly nirvana on 2x but imo a veno is better than a cleric as it has the same debuff (ironwood vs dimensional seal) but also has amp....farming wise cleric is for TT and veno is nirvana so pick your poison, jus need to powerlevel to 100+

    Im actually making a veno jus for fun and its easy to level and shares the same gear (i wont hav a pet, but tbh a pet is so outdated with aps)

    Just invest in an acc stash stone n reroll a cleric is what i tell my other wizzie guildies who are sad and try not to cs because the only way to get good gear is to either cs or merchant =( ohh make good friends =) friends hav helped me in so many ways, it also helped i made a lot of friends during the beginning of my pwi career because wizzie were still 'desired' classes =P

    guys, dont open nirvana for 100k only
    and dont even think about opening it for free


    if you run your 99key quests all during 2x drop you get more coin in less overall time, even with a slow sqaud

    Ways to make money as a wizzy....

    Okay here are a few ideas if you wanna be different....

    Around lvl 80 go to burning heart and just MASS GRIND FIRE MOBS. Put up that fire shield and just start going at it.

    Around lvl 100, with good gear, you can db mass amounts of the lvl 96 spiders up near avalanche. Just bring some tw poison pots with you in case you get stacked up with poison so bad that you can't heal yourself fast enough. Other than that those drop reeeeally good dq.

    Lvl 100+ - without a good barb- try delta, for obps, coin, exp, sp, and possibly gems, oh and oht mats. Good barbs are hard to find for delta, but if you go a full, its worth it.

    Lvl 90+ -with an epic barb- again you try delta.

    Lvl 100+ BHS!!!!! Try for those ecstacy cards!!!!

    Cube.

    Pk.....and keep drops. (A little mean in my opinion, but its always an option)

    Around lvl 30ish farm veno food and sell it.

    Merch of course.

    There are really lots of ways to make money on a wiz.

    lmao we think so alike. I also have a 10x cleric and an leveling a veno atm. Unfortunately I still can't farm very well w/o an int char, but I'm also leveling a bm for that :P I'd have tried a sin instead, but I have a friend that's a sin with +10 r9 that wants to farm with me, and we figured dragons would be better than investing a fortune into making my own sin. I think for the most part though.. To really make money farming.. You need an int char, although as an ep or veno can get you into a few squads.

    As a caster class, you can make some passive money doing dailies like cube BH etc.. Perhaps a couple instances like nv.. But the real money comes from farming in small parties (1-3 man nv for example), merchanting, or cash shopping.

    clerics do way better at it

    i think i was running more profit - win-minus cost - 2shotting the spiders xd with channeling ornaments on

    the occational charm tick caused by failing to pull right makes cost rise b:sad
    those tw apoth are 8k each right? idk cant remember xd

    full delta is very time consuming and you cant even go make yourself a sammich D:

    even tho i think farming West Arch Shopping District is some kind of interesting minigame, its not playing the wizard :P

    since we are not wanted in nirvanas, have an aps alt whos lvl 100 and just sell ur wizs nirvana keys or just log in daily to get ur 3 keys then do ur 99 keys quest...


    A decent way to make money by yourself, specially when medals of glory were in DQ points, is to have a high mag genie, with expel and cloud eruption, and go grind in OVS. around 150 dq itens per hour (which u could sell 12k+ each when medals were there).
