i need help...can update.. "Update files corrupted"

i download the new patch.. but when im trying to updated it.. it says... "Update files corrupted"............ i download it so many times.. but the new patch doesn't work still... so reply... if anyone know how can i fix this!!

    Had same problem tried 4x, then i just manually downloaded patch from site ,worked immediately and no errors like it happened with auto patch.

    chose this file ---> Patch 501-505: Released 04/06/11

    download it then just run it and it auto patches the game

    i cnat wait to play.. i download that patch plenty time...

    b:sad Weird, worked fine for me, dunno what else 2 suggest, if all fails maybe reinstal pwi.

    Did you try letting the patcher update first? When you first start the patcher it will ask to update; let it! It will just update the patcher, then afterwards you can do the manual patch.

    Let us know if that works or not so that other people will know if this would work for them.

    i try both.... and it didnt work aswell....

    maybe i'll just re-install it... and now i just download the patch.. and it didnt work again...


    why this happening to me.. i play 24hours a day.. only now it happen...

    Me too i'm facing the same trouble getting the message that update file are corrupted , i don't really want to re-instal because it is a big big waiting for me.
    So before to do it sure it is not a trouble that came from pwi instead of us ?

    i had the same problem. However I finally got it to work. Try this...pull up your task manager (cntrl+alt+del) look in processes for an open element client...even if you think one isnt open. If you see an element client...close it. Now try the patcher! Worked for me.

    I am having an issue updating as well for the very first time. I'm working on downloading the manual patch and checked my task manager just to make sure there were no open client's running. Wonder why so many people are having this problem.
