What to do with Tokens...

Hey everyone. I have recently gotten 90 Tokens of Luck (NOT best) on one of my characters, and I'm really wondering what to do with them all. I'm not too sure at the moment, as there is alot of stuff that would be useful to me, so I'm going to just post what I think would be useful information below and I hope that you more experienced players could tell me what I should do with them. Thanks in advance :)

I am a keen crafter
I will be going Sage barb and am eager to start preparing
I mostly solo quest
I know nothing of the levels beyond 63, so please explain anything beyond there as if talking to a completely new player :)
I am not interested in earning EXP from this as I have plenty of quests to do

If there's anything else you want to know please let me know :)

    Ok, but can you explain the demon/sage skill books side of things to me, or refer me to a guide, as I'm completely clueless about how it works and how the crafting of the books works

    A Sage/Demon book requires 50 Mysterious Page which take 450 Tokens of Luck and cost 4.5 mill if tokens were bought at 10K each.

    Now, if have to be either Sage or Demon to open the respective books as well, basically, Sage can only open Sage, Demon can only open Demon, its quite annoying, lol.

    Other items that ppl get with Tokens are the HP and MP pots for lvl 75+.

    Subs are great for TT opening and crafting TT gears.

    Teleport Stones are also decent in case you have to get somewhere fast.

    Do-All Cards if you love to Cube.

    Flawless Gems are popular as well.

    Lastly, I know you weren't interested in EXP, but Hyper EXP Stones is also a common thing that ppl like to get.

    Thanks for that :) But aren't there more than one way to make a Sage/Demon book? And I seem to remember being able to trade tokens for pages that needed 20 pages and Medium Ink? Can you clear that up for me?

    Thats Apocalyse Pages, 18 tokens gets you 5, but those pages only get you your lvl 79 skills.

    This also applies to Chrono Pages too for your 100+ skills, don't forget.

    Also, you can trade like 30 Pages of Fate or 20 Old Book Pages (no ink needed) for Sage/Demon skills also.

    Actually, BD, there is one more way to get demon and sage skills (I learned this myself two days ago). You can also get 30 advanced mystical pages. The cost would be the same as getting 50 mysterious pages. You take this pages to the mysterious librarian I believe in thousand streams. He will then give you a skill book that will give you random skill. Pages of fate you get when completing the cube at 90+. And in Sanc there are usually shops in there that are also selling them.

    Awesome, I'd heard about this way but wasn't entirely sure. Are Old Book Pages the ones that are dropped in Delta from wave 4+? And I'm also quite happy with my finds in catshops and AH:

    Sage Garrotte - 50k
    Sage Stomp of the Beast King - 70k
    Sage True Form - 500k (bid with 21 hours remaining)

    These I'm happy about :)

    20 Old Book Pages = 1 Skill book

    30 Pages of Fate = 1 Skill book

    30 Advanced Mystical Pages = 1 Skill book

    330 Advanced Mystical Pages = 11 Skill books, with 100% of getting each skill in the list of skills you can get.

    50 Mysterious Pages = 1 Skill book

    20 Apocalypse Pages + 10 Inks = 1 lvl 79 Skill book

    20 Chrono Pages + 10 Inks = 1 lvl 100 Skill book



    Note that each skill book will randomly give a skill, except Apoc, Chrono, and the skill book set given with 330 Adv. Mystical Pages.

    Also something interessting u can do with tokens except going for skills (or when u have them, whatever..) If u get some more, 10 makes a matchmaker wine u can trade for wines of any bh at matchmaker.

    Let's take exemple bh69.

    10 of each high mats per wine. I see catshops selling those mats 3.5k each. 2 wines : 80 mats total.. At 3.5k.. 280k. 20 tokens to make 2 wines ? 200k if u get them at 10k each. Saving 80k per bh might not seem a lot..But put it in a month..2.4 mil saved if ur not heavy farmer ? Priceless..

    What I do find funny is some people sell wines 140k each and buy tokens at 9.5k in same catshop.

    Or you might want to make profit forever..(Almost..although risky)

    1- Keep 10 tokens, use 40 to make 5 hyper exp stones, sell them 100k each..
    2 -"General chat" in West Arch that ur buying tokens at 10k each.
    3 - Buy 50 for 500k
    4- Go back step one

    Ok thats a crazy thought, but if u get bored or your eating at comp/watching tv same time. It's making money a "legit" way whitout worrying about pots or repairs b:surrender

    Tokens into flawlesses, and sell those. Citrines, especially. Just don't do too many at one time. If there is a sale on packs, buy tokens under 10k and turn them into basic wines and then trade the wines for triumph money. Using tokens to sell BH wines isn't as profitable as you'd think, since there is a lot of competition and most players realize that making the wines themselves is far easier and cheaper. Shards are the best off sale, since people don't always think about making them; just remember to sell high enough to make a profit but low enough to actually get them sold.

    In general, selling hypers and/or wines are not effective. People might have fallen for it at one point; but not anymore.

    If you have the coin or the tokens to get it started, you can get the 11 skill books as Knownase mentioned (via 330 Adv. Myst. Pages) and sell the books. Depending on the market you're in and the path you chose, you can generally make a profit. I haven't tried it, but if you can do it for other classes and get the Deamon Archer set, those books sell for quite a bit on DW. Just, selling books takes time so you won't see instant return.

    Let's see... Anything else... Hrm...

    Ah yes, if you want extra space; try getting cupboard stones. You can put other things like Duty Badges, SoF, feathers, chips and the like in there. Save room in your bank for other things. Or if you farm a lot or do TTs often. If you want to make a tome, making Tome pages can be useful since there aren't many other ways to get them. then, of course, HP/MP food is always a good option; as are hypers. Provided you're using them and not merchanting them.

    Thanks for all the advice everyone, I've decided I'm going to get a start on my skill books for level 89, while gold is still relatively cheap and before the economy of this game goes into total oblivion. I already have 3 of my skills now (All level 89) so I'm trying to get the 330 Advanced Mystical Pages I need for the full set, then I can focus on leveling up alot more. At least this way I don't have to rely on my fb to get the books :) Thanks again and I hope I see you around Sanctuary :)
