I've been doing cube of fate for a very long time and I haven't ever tried to kill anyone in it except for rooms 14, 34
My question is: Do you directly get a die when you kill a player in a PK enabled room (aside from rooms 14 and 34)?
I have looked it up everything and guides don't mention a thing about it.
I'm really getting sick of being attacked in consequence, mystical messenger and jail rooms, and i really don't get the point of making some rooms in cube PK enabledb:angryb:angry

    As a cleric of your level, I'm not quite sure why being attacked in cube is too much an issue, and no you don't get the die any sooner because of killing another player. The main lesson for those PK rooms is don't go afk in em :P I also believe that all rooms above 30(?) are PK enabled.
    There's more to making a judging than everything being in black and white. The decision making process is a puddle of grays.

    I'll tell you why, because when you first jump in the room without evening blinking, you get the quest in consequence room and yay it's 100 cards, there is another cleric in the room and you ask how far are you ( to help digging) he uses plume shot with his rank 8 glaive or get surprised by stealthed sins who stun and kill in 3 seconds -.- I don't PK and I hate it, I don't have PK build nor expensive *** rank/nirvana gear, it is just so unfair.
    Notice that I'm talking about +90 players

    1) The "someone has to die to get a die" rooms require just what it sounds like. You never get a die if you don't kill someone (unless you use Do-All Cards).

    2) It's semi-random which rooms are PK-enabled. Note that some of them are rooms where it's best to squad up anyhow. (Open Sesame Again comes to mind immediately...)

    3) WTF. 99 cleric (even "PvE build") should have enough survivability to at least put up a decent fight... b:shocked

    Read what I wrote above.
    I have 4k HP unbuffed and 2.6k phys def buffed, but I still cant survive a damn +10 rank 8 glaive -.- Do I have to walk with plume shell and WOP in cube? I mean, if players wanna kill for fun, why don't they just duel or go PK with white named players? Why attack whoever you see in cube? I just don't get the point. Not to mention that I have to click myself if I wanna heal myself in a pk enabled room and I use a laptop with touchpad, yea imagine..
    And whenever you pm the killer asking why, he replies with hearts and roses and in a language I don't understand, if he's a jerk why do I have to keep up with that?

    Oh, and you don't have to squad up for open sesame rooms, NPC appears once boss is killed, whether you are squaded or not, whether you hit it or not.

    Um, yes. You should walk around with all your defenses up when in the cube. Duh.

    Though I must say, I've not been PK'd very often in the cube - and no, it's not ALL rooms post 30, but it is most of them.

    To answer the OP's question, as no one has..

    No. You will never get a die immediately after killing someone. No matter what room. This applies to the 14/34 as well, since once you kill someone, or if someone dies, the room teleporter NPC spawns, and you get the die from it.

    Other rooms have different challenges. PK-ing someone in any room other than 14/34 is a pretty **** move.

    That's FUN.

    Duel has nothing to do with killing people, and PvP on a PvE server is nothing but duels with charms on.
    No, the only place where you can really fight on those servers, is in PK enabled instances.

    And you don't have to click yourself to heal yourself, just set your PvP protections so you don't buf red named players (this also includes pink, and they go pink soon as they attack you), or even not buf people in your squad.

    The idea of cube is that it's a race, and the PvP enabled rooms allow you to slow down your opponents

    @Sirrobert I don't really see the cube as a race, since it's 24/7, and everyone gets the same reward for reaching the end (for their level range) >.>

    So what, he could wait till my defensive skills wear off and shoot me just like a stealthed sin it's not like I can spam it, in duels or normal pk, it's always 1 slip and you die. I am not complaining about the pvp fighting techniques, I am asking WHY attack in the first place if you're not getting anything from it, not even PK drops, he will still get stuck with 100 cards to dig

    And hmmm pvp protections, sounds like a solution

    Yea probably, not sure about the hated part though xD I don't interact with a lot of people. But I guess it's legitimate to spam their chat box cusses after they do the crime

    I usually kill in cube cause I'm having a bad day, usually caused by cube itself

    No, but the other people in the room get annoyed when you AoE if you haven't squadded with them and you keep your protections off... b:chuckle

    I kill people who skirt around me and make a point of staying away from me. If they may no heed to me, 70% of the time I leave them alone. The other 30% is for if I see rival guilds/known PKers.

    Oh yea true, that happens in room 45 (second boss) but room 6 (first boss) is not PK enabled xD

    This is why I do Cube at like 3 AM server time. Usually never see another person in there, except maybe one or two others.

    Some people just enjoy pk-ing ppl in cube. Met a wizard once who oneshot me in the room where you have to run from a mob and dig chests.

    I decided just to ask why and not to QQ about it. Had a pretty fun chat with him too afterwards and he promised not to pk me again ^^

    but yeh, some people just seem to love pk-ing people when they least suspect it.

    i don't believe you do, bout the pk rooms, if i do cube a certain time of day i wont get attacked cause all the mean people play at certain times of day luckily xD, anyway like in final stand room i spawned in ih'd myself and this bm killed mobs, so i came to stand in corner with him and he just randomly decided to attack me, so i froze him and killed him, and he says "wtf is your problem are you crazy?" i replied " you attacked me first, i simply used self defense" he says " i was killing mobs you noob, i didnt see you" i replied "mobs were dead when i joined you in corner, and even if you did attack me by mistake you expect me just to stand there and let you attack me?" he got pissed off i think he bl'd me, funny thing is i helped his squad with bh earlierb:chuckle

    I did something similar to that... I killed a fellow cleric in the second 100 second stand a few days ago. I meant to help her out as she was healing herself while the mobs pounded on her. I threw a razor feathers at the mobs without thinking about it first and realized my mistake when she was just... gone!

    I felt terrible when she pm'd me. She was nice about it, though, after I explained my mistake and apologized.

    My cleric, unbuffed at level 98 with **** boots has 2.5k phys def. She still gets massacred by people higher level/refined/geared but I expect it. I do have to agree with Deceptistar though. A few +2-3s and some garnets/phys def ornaments will help survival.

    To answer your question though, and its something I've recently learned (with some help) is people do it for the rush. It gives them a high to kill people in cube, even if its not a room that's required to kill someone. Others will do it because they feel "kill them before they kill me." Personally, on cleric, I try to keep from attacking anyone. I've only attacked people in the I don't wanna leave/Steadfast rooms.
