I want to know which is the best weapon for a barb in endgame, rank 9 or NV or ashuras prurgatory?

    Answer... Military Grade Rank 9 is the BEST end game weapon for any class currently.

    My EPIC Fail Demon Barb has 40k/48k HP and my stat points are as follows:

    Rank 8's not bad.

    The R8 hammer's actually better than Lunar-Nirvana tier 2 hammer.

    I was wondering myself should i get a set of GX at lvl 90 or should i wait for lvl 100 to get my R8 weapon.

    If you have the rep then get to 100 and get Rank 8 since you can do 90-100 in no time nowadays with FCCs and any level 80/85 weapon will be fine for that. 2 mil for rank 8 weap vs 30 mil for Gx. If I remember correct Gx will also out DD Rank 8 at +8 but Rank 8 out DDs it until then.

    The R9 is the best, Fuzzy can't argue with that, but there are also a couple nice Nirvana options if you want to actually farm a weapon instead of charging for one. b:shutup

    Nice, were thinking about the TT99 Unparalleled Brimstone Edges, but now going for R8 for sure.

    I think my 100 will be final for tank. And if not, then R8 stuff is good enough to go further.

    Fuzzy , you're not supposed to be promoting Farming! the only way to win is the CS b:chuckle

    on a more serious note, I personally like NV hammers/axes over r8, merely because everyone (and I mean everyone) has rank8, and it's not as ugly as that stupid egg on a stick.

    But that's the woman in me talking : P r8 has better damage.

    The Range +2 add on the Dragonhunt's isn't exactly the greatest stat to have on a weapon. This along with the cost associated with farming a set (yes, you can do it, Fuzzy has farmed 3 lunar gold weapons so far, to hell with the insignia) is the reason most people look down on it.

    However, it does have one extremely excellent thing working in it's favour...

    The panda couldn't agree with Freizer more. There are a handful of axes you will see on end-game barbs. Perhaps the 2 most common are the R8 Dominating Power and the TT100 Ashura's. There are a few barbs with the Brimstone's and even a few with the Invincible Smoker or even the upgraded Warfog version.

    But thinking about what Freizer pointed out, have you ever seen a barb with the Dragon Descaler or the final form Unicorn's Tragedy? Every bit as good as the Smoker/Warfog path yet completely ignored.

    Well, Fuzzy for one will enjoy laying the panda's paws on the Unicorn's Tragedy. This barb has always been one who tries to be a little different than the majority. Most barbs go straight to TT90 Mountcrasher, Fuzzy took his time and farmed a full set of Feng's 80 gold then full Brute's 90 gold. If they progress beyond Mountcrasher most barbs will either go Rank or TT Lionheart Nirvana. Fuzzy set his mind to it and farmed a full set of Lunar Cascade Glow Nirvana. The axe will simply be another example of the fact it is possible to still farm anything you set your mind to and that having something different than the accepted majority isn't at all a bad thing.

    tbh the dragonhunts are rlly good if your pulling cata. that and the fc gold ask give the best hp on a wep. beyond that, its a pointless use on pvp or dd in pve

    yup, r9 axe is the best, but I enjoy more if I craft and use my own gear. I'm 20 raptures short to make Invincible smoker, and after that i'll start farming for Warfog and hoping to get God of Frenzy, +Str/vit or HP points on it b:dirty

    The only way to acquire the essences and the ancient tinder required is squad mode. Fuzzy doesn't like the 3m cost to do it, but it can still be cheaper than buying an insignia.

    thats what i thought. thought tbh idk, on HL insignia prices are droppping, highest ive seen is liek 40 mil so, its a toss up with one costs more

    best axes are MY OHT 3 star 37 vit on them yes u heard me right 37 vit **** all ather hp based axes mine wins why far when it come 2 survability.
    sadly i cant refine 2 +12 yet but slowly will get there i think.

    best part they are so random i dobt there are many with these stats wish i like

    Oh yeah lunar is way fun to run, i did solo mode once and my bm and was fun. problem is finding people for squad mode in my case. i dont have many clerics available anymore. most of them have quit or play other chars

    Sorry to rez this thread but does anyone know the rate that Sacrificial Strike and God Frenzy fire on Wheel of Warfog?

    After being QQed about for being non aps and unable to hold agro this weekend during 2x madness my ego could use the boost knowing that even if it a ten percent chance once I get those axes my damage will jump higher than it would if I would restated and go with blasphemous claws

    Long after the aps craze has gone and the last noob has gotten his *** killed by taking aggro like a nooblet, there'll be the true tank barb.

    Any smart apser I know usually hasa set of normal gear for cases such as that. And if they're whining about you not being aps tell them to either buy your gear or gtfo. Aps is pretty much like Justin Beiber, the new kids like it but the old guys look at it pointlessly.

    And by chance, it means its completely random. Like, you seriously won't be able to count on it.
