I wasn't sure where to post this threat but i was thinking this was the right place. What can i merchant? I don't mean like buy items on sale and sell it when it's of sale. I mean to buy from people for cheaper and to sell it for more so what i can merchant that way?

    a little bit impatient, are we?

    i'm no merch, but if i wanted to become one, i'd start by looking at people who were and see what they're doing. check what catshops are up where, when, and how often; that way you'll get a feel for which of them belong to serious merchants. look at what they're selling, get a feel for what they charge. then try to figure out how they might be getting hold of it cheaper than they're selling it.

    and then sell something different, but similar. this is probably the hard part. don't try to sell exactly the same thing as the established merchants do, unless you're willing to sell at exactly their price levels; they'll compete you out of the market, most likely. sell something that would sell in a similar manner to what they're selling, but which they're not selling, so that you can make your own market. figuring out what this something is, is probably half the secret to merchanting. if i thought i was at all good at it, i'd be a merchant.
