hello i recently acquired a pair of

I had planned to keep them. but Im may be willing to part with them if someone bids high enough.

this is dreamweaver server.

For some background data.

these boots have a one in sixty six thousand chance to drop 1:66000

As far as i know this is the ONLY unbound pair on this server. (aside from the ones the gms have)

Now as for pricing.

the fact is. there ARE no other sellers of this item. this is it.. the only one.

so think of the rarest most expensive item u can.. and try to estimate how many thousand people have that.

I want REAL offers
Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

    Probably won't sell for much. The boots are rare, but the adds are garbage. No one wants + speed. If it does sell, it's because 1 person out of the entire server likes collecting rare things lol.

    some folks are just addicted to speed. like me --- if these were on HT, i'd offer what i could for them. not what i'd think they're worth, because i couldn't afford that, but still.

    don't take a coin less than five mil, minimum. hold out for fifteen if you can.

    The actual drop rate is more like 1 in 12 million

    The mold doesnt come from the default drop table but from a secondary table for rares.

    Well w/e the ratio is. I'm not even going to consider anything less than a scroll of tome.

    i see people linking those in world chat all the time. absurdly rare yes. but they still measure in the thousands. And even if by some VAST miscalculation I'm wrong and there are more of these, i doubt they number even in the triple if not double or single digits.

    Rarity does not necessarily make it more valuable. I've recently seen a Heart of Nature, Twilight Scepter and Golden Mask drop in my 3-3 squads, but regardless of rarity, the usefulness of the TT100 weapons is less than that of Rank 9, which makes the TT100 almost worthless. Yes, they're rare drops, but they're overshadowed by the usefulness of Rank 9, etc.

    Since the boots are HA, you're going to have a hard time convincing any HA player to buy an HA 6X pair of boots over a 10X pair of boots, due to higher grade boots being deemed of higher usefulness in terms of survivability. Most HA classes will value survivability / tanking above anything else. If the boots were for an AA class I could see it's usefulness. Unfortunately Barbs / BMs can run like 10m/s already. Maybe a seeker would want it? :/

    A normal 6X player probably couldn't afford 100s of millions... So, yeah.

    there is no way in $%^ i would buy those... much less spend 5 mill for those... a BM and Barb are fast enough... and if you really wanna go faster (more than holy path) then just use a pot... now if it were a -1 sec -int gear... now that would sell for 500mill easyb:bye

    seeing as your not on my server. i don't really give a damn if you wanna buy them or not.

    the point of this thread was im posting that i have these. i bloody love using them. i find it nice to still run a decent speed through invoke, i can gather mobs faster. there are tons of benifts for running fast without having to spam a skill to in order do so.

    i run at 9.8 with these, and that can easily be raised to over 10.0 with other gear.

    i know thier rarity, i and i know what thier worth to ME.
    and these arnt getting sold unless it can get me enough to afford demon sunder, demon titians, demon surf impact. demon roar, demon bloodbath, rep for rank 8 for my barb, and enough coin to learn all those skills and purchase rank 8 gear form npc.

    becuase THAT's what these are worth to ME.

    you need to learn simple econimics... rare or not your idea of what they are worth = nothing to a buyer... you might think they are worth 1bill but if no one else does and all you can get it is 500k then they are ONLY worth 500k... gl selling them but dont get bent if no one buys them for what they are worth to YOU... b:bye

    I think its pretty obvious what Furries meant. He is posting becuase he is WILLING to sell them if someone if someone offers high enough. Not that he is TRYING to sell them.
    It seems to me that he loves the boots, and doesn't REALLY plan on selling, but is posting here in case someone else is willing to pay with something that will make him happier than the boots do. ie what he posted.
