How generous are you with your mystic?

When I see some someone who is low on hp I'll give them a heal til they've got full hp.
If I'm in a small squad I'll rez buff all the players. And when I see a player on occasion I'll give that person a rez buff a well. Since I keep it a 1 the strain is starting to fade on me.
Also if I see someone getting swarmed I'll use my pet to save their backside.

One of the main reasons I chose a mystic as a is because I can help players out in more than one way.So here's my question.

How generous are you to other players with your mystic?

    It depends on how I'm feeling that day, really. Some days I'll sit over at a low level boss to help out lowbies, other days I'll sit over at a low level boss to watch lowbies die repeatedly.

    I do it all the time. Most people love it, with rare exceptions. Mostly butthurt noobs.

    I only give res buffs or heals when someone is kind enough to me also. I'm kinda sick of being the nice person.. xD
    Like today, I was killing aggro physical mobs, and while my pet and I were on one, another came up behind me and started attacking me. Before I even realised what was going on, some seeker took him off my hands and I just barely survived. While he was probably doing it for his own personal gain, I still res buff'd him and went our seperate ways. b:cute

    I'll always buff a cleric in the same BH squad as myself. If there's no cleric, I'll buff myself and that's about it. With 5.9k MP at level 69 and maxed out resurrect buff (3.8k MP), I DEFINITELY feel that loss. If players are patient, I can slowly buff the entire squad.

    However, I purposely won't buff a player that harasses me with "res plz."
    Playing a healer since 5/29/2001.
    Proud Sanctuary player. If it has some practical healing skills, I play it.

    I used to give auto-res to nearby Clerics when I had MP to spare, but since I've been collecting MP Recovery+ equipment and am capping Resurrect at 1/3 of my MP pool, I can now afford to do it for other classes too. I also like auto-ressing everyone in my party.

    I'm wary of helping non-party members fight, even when they're swarmed, as I don't want to be accused of kill stealing or ruining a good challenge. I feel a little better about doing it for squishies, though, because I know I would appreciate the help if I were in their place.

    Sometimes, I hang out at places where lowbies die a lot (like the Savage Fields) and heal/Salvation/offer to help people kill.

    I used to be very generous with my Cleric. I would buff almost whatever player I saw that was fighting around (when questing). I stopped doing that since, it seems, not many people actually appreciated that.
    I also used to heal people with low HP and save them, I did make a couple of friends like that (though they didn't last long enough). I still do it if somebody needs it.

    Well, after being 'abused' as a Cleric I kinda lost my generosity. Although I still do my job very well in squads as I love being a Cleric, I'm simply tired of wasting my time with some people out there in the game.I still buff players that seem to need the buffs though and I do it if they ask me nicely, I even offer squad buffs.

    One thing that didn't change is that I revive people regardless because I know how annoying it is having to go to town.

    On my Mystic though...I'm only playing with my soulmate and my attention is only for him.
    I have wasted a lot of my life in this game with stupid people and friends that were never real friends. People I played with for.. not just a run or a week, people that I know 2 years now that simply forgot about me because they became these awesome cool and pro players.

    Same here. >.< I go with my faction on my FBs and stuff, but if Kritty was ever on, I would obviously make him take me. A lot of my friends from HL quit or are way to pr0 for me, and on DW the only real friend I have is currently in school so he can't play right now. So really, the only one I play with is Kritty and other than that, I'm soloing everything... which is okay, because so far I've killed all the bosses needed to be killed up to Farng and I'm going to attempt Krixxix today maybe. Even Zanryu is like, ehhhh *ignore* sometimes . b:surrender

    heal people here and there, if they need it. but thats about all....rez buff is too expensive to just randomly cast on passers-by, occasionally I'll do it when I'm not actively doing anything. and then there are some people that absolutely hate being buffed randomly (a lady friend of mine will go so far as to relog if anyone buffs her without asking, she just can't stand it.)

    its easy enough to be nice, and play fair, but what do you do when someone isn't? a couple of my biggest pet peeves are random squad invites (lazy people who think you'll do their quests and yours while they go afk) and KSers, once is ok, but more than once, and I'm pulling cragglord everytime you get close to me.

    Not every random squad invites are from lazy people who want you to do their quests o_O
    I attempt to squad with everyone who is killing the same mobs as I am, that way we get done 2x faster... if they reject the invite, I just keep killing the mobs, regardless of if I "KS" them. b:shutup

    happens all the time for me....actually, happened yesterday on my seeker, was killing treants and skirmishers and a mystic just randomly invites me...I give him the benefit of the doubt, and i join but he just sits there, yelling what mobs he needs, not bothing to heal, or even send his pet out. this happens alot in lower level play, less on my mystic in 50+, but still happens from time to time.

    Well just because some people do it doesn't mean you should completely seperate yourself from the whole squad thing.. especially since random squads are going to happen for BH and the like sometimes. b:surrender

    If I'm out questing I don't give others my ress buff. Seriously, with the 3.1k mp cost at my lvl (I have 5.4mp in total) it's barely enough to buff me and keep some to summon pet and use my self buff too.
    The most annoying part is when people see me meditating for mp (my hp is full so for what else would I be meditating) and they still come and say 'rez plz'. I'm thinking...you don't even bother to ask nicely/spell correctly...Why would I bother spending more than half of my mp for you >.<

    If I'm in a BH squad I buff the cleric and me (-if I have the chance).

    I also always buff my hubby even though he's 100 and doesn't really need it. xD

    I only buff the clerics in squad. Falling petals on the tank every now and then. I let the clerics do their jobs and just dd/debuff.

    I usually heal ppl when I see their HP is low when they as killing mobs. As far squad, when there is a cleric I use aoe heals to help the cleric along with the herbs and just rez buff cleric and myself. PPL in the squad prefer cleric rez 11 than ours. When there is no cleric in the squad I give rez buff to everyone which is a huge mp consuption but it is your burden to carry...b:thanks
