Well, there's a lot of info about classes on the pw-wiki :)
But anyway, what kind of playstyle do you like?
    magic or melee?
DD, tank, debuffer, healer..? Do you want to fight with a pet or not...

Maybe you should give some more info on what kind of playstyle you like ^^ It's a lot easier to help then :)

u came at a good time too cuz the new expansion just came out ... u have a broad choice of characters .. decide first if u like magic or melee .. personally i love DD classes (melee classes or Archers) over magic classes .. yea magic classes are cool and all but they are too expensive .. melee classes have a much more challenging aspect to them.. and i feel lvling them into the 90's and up is a very good accomplishment

i have a lvl 87 archer and 102 almost 103 sin .. and personally i love the classes cuz the element of surprise is on ur side .. :) not much of a tank but sometimes end up being one lol and i love pvp its fun :)

take ur time choosing .. just remember .. if u want to get good at ur character i recommend getting on a pvp server not pve .. dispite the fact ull get ppl killing u, u wont see any high lvls (unless they are douch bags) kill u .. actually they will protect u against other ppl trying to kill u .. and once ur higher up there ull be able to participate in mass Territory wars and really get good at pvp .. and on ur own time kill ppl on ur server :) its alot of fun.. and the pvp aspect of the game is wat makes it so much fun.. if u join a pve server u cant kill anyone unless they got their Safty switched to pvp mode .. i think its the stupidest thing ever ...

    -good luck

    Classes:
Assassin- Fun to PK at lvl 30 if you do PK
Psychic- A class more fun once you reach higher lvls.
Venomancer- A fun class. Good for merchants towards the other Venos bcuz they catch monsters and are able to sell them

Barbarian- ALOT of damage is dealt here.
Cleric- Useful in healing. A guild benefits from clerics(guilds are groups of players)
Archer- A good class, but not my favorite.
Wizard- A hard time leveling but once you hit high lvls you do TONS of damage
Blademaster- Diversity in weapons but definately not my fave.

Mystic- I LOVE this class. You have summons/pets which do WAY more damage than the Venos, plus they heal and have good buffs. This is an all-round class, a mix between the Wizard, Venomancer, and Cleric as I would say.

Seeker- A nice class to play. This class is like a Melee/ranged class. They use swords, but have some distance skills.

the best advice you can get is to do all quests!

to find quests, PRESS Q then, click on the "available quests tab". Do all those quests. Quests below level 20 are all quests just teaching you how to PLAY the game. They are all pretty easy and not dangerous. I can tell you that you can finish ALL 1-20 quests without putting a single stat point anywhere. Once you get sent to ARchasaur..you need to know a little about the game, classes, and stat points. Until then... just do the quests.
