75 gold for an Untamed Phoenix mount and it's not even upgradable anymore.

What's the deal? This another glitch or something, or is it just being mean?

    that would be event gold, not regular b:thanks

    i would presume it was originally 25 gold regular, and they cut it down to 12.5, but never cut the price down in the boutique

    Eh? Shows the Crimson Flametalon(Phoenix?) as 12.5 Gold in my Boutique, unless your looking at something else?

    OOOH ok gotcha. The boutique's all set up weird. What's the difference between Event Gold and regular Gold?

    event gold is earned through doing in-game events, like the tiger thing on mondays. it's only usable in the event boutique, and stuff bought with it is not tradeable. the event boutique keeps a different price level because "event gold" --- despite its confusing name --- really is a totally different currency from regular gold; i don't know of any direct way to exchange the two, even.

    the general rule of thumb was that 1 regular gold = 3 event gold

    so something costing 10 regular gold would cost 30 event gold

    however, then they dropped the prices of a lot of the mounts in half, they neglected to do it in the boutique as well, so thats why some items in the boutique are now 6x the price instead of 3x
