Make Wizard buff's cast on other people!

i say a wizard should be able to buff people with their barriers. not only the water attack. you could buff a cleric with the glacial embrace, or a barb with the stone barrier. its not much but it may help.

    No, just no.

    Stone Barrier + Bell + Vanguard = +220% Defense.

    That's tripling everyone's physical defenses.

    Similarly, Glacial Embrace and Magic Shell would total +160% Water Resistance.

    Basically, your suggestion would not only make AA overpowered, it'd weaken HA and it'd make the game even more Easy Mode than it already is.

    As an alternate suggestion:
    maybe give wizzies a separate shield buff to cast on party members that gives say 30% of the 3 elemental resistances (%based on the target's stats of course) and not the extra hp, mp, pdef that a wizard gets from the self buffs so it wouldn't be so OP.

    this would kind of defeat the purpose of having different classes. Also, @ Svedra, there's already a buff that clerics can cast on other players. Having redundant castable buffs on a non-support class... again, kinda defeat the purpose of having different classes.

    i dont think that this is a wise decision. I mean i also think that it would be nice if the wiz would have something to support the party beside frostblade. Nevertheless applying the barrier effects to other players would end in a disaster.

    I would really like if pwi would increase the chance to purify on elemental shell to 100% and increse the duration to 6s that would really help in parties

    Well, as for Wiz's buffs, the one that would be the most needed and wouldn't really make anyone OP is Wellspring Quaff. I mean, I'm so craving for such a buff on my mystic *__* It would give him over 16k mana :p Not like I wouldn't need it much more than wizzies themselves :'(
