Between the seizure inducing strobe and the voice this PWI forums ad is the most annoying ad ever.

You need to change your adsense settings or something.

    Since most ads are annoying I just use chrome with adblock

    OP maybe you should use an adblocker as well

    ad blockers are things fully functional, usable web browsers have. if such functionality isn't there, then what you have is not a web browser --- it's just an advertisement delivery system.

    Oh and let's not assume aster doesn't know or have an adblocker, it's highly possible he's just not on his home computer. I'm on my phone which doesn't have adblocker. It actually yells out that I won when my phone is on silent, wtf. I just got weird looks while I'm in class.

    edit: web browsing on a cell phone seems to be a tricky and somewhat convoluted use case; i don't know if there are any really good solutions to it as yet. certainly no application program that ignores a cell phone's "silent" setting for the sake of advertising can be considered fully functional, or even properly usable. i wish i could recommend something better for ya, but it seems all i can do is discommend whatever you've already got. :-/

    To be honest the most I have ever used internet explorer was for:

    1. Download firefox
    2. Test web pages I design because IE is the ***** of web browsers and will read anything you throw at it. I always want to make sure the ****** browser can read the page and still look halfway decent.

    This is bad, not as bad as MySpace's "You've just won two free ipods!" ad, but bad. I'll forward this on to the marketing department and see if we can remove it entirely.
