Max Dex!

It's not really a good idea to have the amount of dex you need at 100 at level 60. Dex is an almost worthless stat for barbs, as long as you have the minimum amount needed for equips and use blood bath you won't really need to worry about accuracy. So you should just get the minimum amount of dex needed for your level. You can check this post for info on how much you should have at each level.

Although, since every 20 dex = an additional 1% crit rate, if you're close to 20, 40, or 60 dex you might want to just get to the milestone for the extra crit.

as an old school vit barb, I capped my dex at 60 and only got it to that point when i hit level 100. up to that point i was just adding 1 dex every other level thus gaining more vit in lower levels than the path you plan to take.

afaik claw barbs restat at end game to have 200 dex with gear bonuses accounted for. this amount generally gets deducted from VIT considering the whole purpose of claw build is to maximize damage (ergo removing some from str would defeat the purpose somewhat).

of course these days with VIT stones and rank gears etc, sacrificing a bit of VIT to put towards DEX for PvP accuracy is probably not an entirely unacceptable idea... if you can afford it.

For bare minimum DD and max vit, cap dex at 60 green (green means with armor equiped). This is the .5 dex per level required for axes, and then capped off at a multiple of 20 for the extra crit percent.

For a more moderated dmg/vitality build you can cap at 80 to 100 green. More dex means more accuracy, hits, and crit rate. Somewhat needed for holding aggro.

For claws, 2 dex per level minus what your gear adds. For instance Deicides are 193 but you can get away with 145ish and adds from gear.

Its the only way to go.

1str 4 mag every lvl full TT99 gold arcane, Torquise shards in every thing, every thing 4 soccets, +10 every thing, and you got your self a grade ace Endgame ownage barb
