Frankie why can't Sango edit the front page of the wiki?

If Sangodoc had proper admin rights on the wiki the earthguard would have been added to the front page weeks ago. Isn't he supposed to be the wiki mod?

    I thought he did have rights to edit the front page of the wiki. O_o Did he say he couldn't?

    Sorry guys, I'm afraid PWE does not allow any non PWE-staff to have admin rights on the Wiki. And this is not a reflection on Sangodoc at all-- he has been an enormous help in adding and formatting content, as well as pushing for addons and extensions to make the wiki better than it was originally.

    All changes to the front page have to go through me, and I'm currently in the process of editing and verifying the sandbox page that he created for the update.

    We'll have the page updated to reflect the new classes and other additions by the end of this week, and likely much sooner.

    You would notice that...also, in order for Sango to be staff, he would have to be able to daily be in the offices in California.

    Anyway they should atleast give him admin rights to the wiki, since he is the wiki mod.

    And thanks, Asterelle, for bringing this up. If anyone is curious, you can see the how the new front page for the wiki will most likely look, just take a look here.

    Still, and I've mentioned this before, I don't need admin rights to edit the front page. They can give me enough rights to edit that without making me an admin. The wiki software is very flexible, and you can create your own hierarchy of rights that go from no rights at all to full admin, with many levels in-between.

    One thing I could do with those rights is prevent a possible problem that I now have to warn Frankie about, since I can't fix it myself. b:shutup

    The only page that I've been helping on a bit lately was the debuff/buff icons page.

    I added quite a bit of this and that :D

    Well, feel free to fix it yourself. It's not that hard. I don't TW yet, so I don't know enough about that area myself.

    If everyone who spotted a mistake in the wiki fixed it themselves, the wiki would be pretty amazing by now. The problem is that only a few people bother to do these little things that would help out so many other people. I'm really grateful to all of the people who put in an effort to make it better.

    I've tried, but it's hella confusing.


    Although it was several months ago that I tried, maybe somethings different or I overlooked something obvious.

    wait nvm, it was something else I couldn't do. I updated that page altho some of the info might be a bit off (such as minimum bids for level 2 and 3 TWs) but it's way more accurate than it was.

    it still needs some more of the mystic info, but i pretty much finished with the seeker stuff.
    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

    But sometimes I don't want to edit stuff if I think it's wrong cause I'm never really sure and don't want to give people bad info. >.<


    By the way I'd edit the fashion page if I could figure out the little table formatting that was used on it.

    If there's stuff you're unsure about or think needs fixed, you can always either post it to the article's talk page or add a FixMe tag, and then we'll know what needs to be checked into.

    If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask me on my talk page, though if you just copy-and-paste one of the tables and then edit the names and images, you can probably figure it out. You can always do a preview before posting too, to make sure it looks the way you want it before actually publishing the changes.

    Yeah, I've got a few mystic things ready to add, but I've been a bit busy both playing the game and with other stuff. I like working on the wiki, but it's not always my first priority. :-P
